"Sir Lucas, I'm sorry... Mr..."

"Just get us two coffees, Jenny." He instructed his temporary secretary as she nervously barged into his office following his first appointment for the day.

He could not get mad at his secretary for failing to do her job since he knew his friend could be a dick most of the time. His friend usually did not like to play by the rules.

Nonetheless, his friend could be an upstanding human being on rare occasions, but only if it suited him. But so far, despite his friend's many flaws, he had been a loyal friend.

"Chase, you're early." He greeted his client as he leaned on his chair, dropping the pen on his hand on the table.

Immediately, Chase occupied the empty chair, fixing his coat and tie, comfortably crossing his legs before looking at him.
