If she were to deny any further on the existence of the vampires, would she rather the encounter to be a nightmare when it did happen? There is no doubt she had her suspicions regarding that department. 

But to say her Lucas; the loving blonde-haired, deep dark blue-eyed husband of hers;

one who spoiled her to the end of the Earth, 

one who tended her when she was dishevelled in fear, 

one who went all out to look for her when she went missing, 

one who trusted her when no one did,

one where a house turned into a home, 

would be the one that caused all this? 

Is he really the firestarter? Is that not ludicrous? 

Did he not show his love, albeit excessively?

She could not fathom why Harith would go as far as to accuse him as one. Not once had her husband treated her like she was a piece of meat. Not once had he crossed the line once she gets to know him.
