Chapitre 171: First DATE

After the phone call with his grandmother, Hunter ran his fingers through his hair as he headed for the door so he could return to join Delilah but just as he turned the doorknob his phone buzzed again with a phone call from Damon.

Hunter sighed when he saw it was Damon and it occurred to him that he didn't tell Damon what happened. Unable to ignore the call, he received it and went to sit on the bed.

"What's going on, man?" Damon's voice came through, sharp and direct. "Why am I just hearing about you getting arrested by Chloe? What the hell happened?"

Hunter exhaled heavily, leaning back against the headboard. "Who told you about it, anyway? It was nothing serious."

"Nothing serious?" Damon's voice rose in disbelief. "Chloe accused you of sexual harassment. How is that 'nothing serious'?"

Hunter rubbed his temple, feeling a headache coming on. "Look, Delilah already handled it. It's over."
