Linda's POV

I go into my room and close the door behind me. Then I walk up to the table next to my bed where I left my phone before going to sleep. 

I feel a little hesitant to call Alessandro knowing very well that he won't hide how much he thinks I've messed up, unlike the others who smile at me like everything is fine and I'm stupid. 

I finally push myself to make the call and a few seconds after his voice comes over the line. 

" Hey, Linda," he says in greeting.
