"One could think that you are jealous." Lin Yan said.

Li Lingyun chuckle softly and said "It feels weird. Not fighting with you feels really strange."

"Well you have to accept that strange feeling because I truly want the both of us to get along and if you don't mind could you shift a little, you are too close."

"Do I make you uncomfortable? You have done worst than this with Mu Chen and if you truly want us to get along then break off whatever relationship you have with that loser."

"He isn't really a loser." Lin Yan blurted without thinking. To be honest, after receiving that call yesterday, she went online and search for his movie and she definitely couldn't deny that he was a great actor. Lin Yan sigh mentally, she couldn't just end her relationship with Mu Chen just like that, if she have really been in love with him then it would definitely be strange for her to end it without putting up a fight.

"Do you really think Mu Chen love you?" Li Lingyun suddenly asked.

"Then show me proof that he doesn't. If you do that then I will end my relationship with him." Lin Yan said. It was the perfect way to end it. From her conversation with Li Lingyun, she could tell that this Mu Chen was actually using the real Shen Yi to sponsor his movie project so she was sure he must have been cheating on her, if Li Lingyun could help her do the dirty work then she would not mind ending such useless relationship. And besides she needed Li Lingyun for more important things, she looked up at him and asked "Will Fang Min really get married to Li Jun? It hasn't even been long before Lin Yan died."

Li Lingyun frowned at the change of topic but was still satisfied by Shen Yi replied. Finding evidence on that bastard would not be difficult. He stepped away from Shen Yi and said "They would probably get married a month from now. Lin Yan is dead and there is no reason for Fang Mei to be known as an illegitimate child and Fang Min is pregnant with another child of Li Jun."

"I know he is your grandfather but he is indeed heartless, how could he allow them to marry in a month."

"That is his punishment for Li Jun. Li Jun has always been known as a loving husband by the whole country. A man who loved his wife regardless of whether she could give him a child or not. If such a man get married to another woman in just a month after his wife died, what do you think people will say about him?"

"They would hate and despise him. They would call him a liar and critize him." Lin Yan said as a realization suddenly came to her mind.

"Exactly. Fang Min and Li Jun marriage is inevitable but if it was up to Li Jun he would marry Fang Min in a year or two, just to show the public that he mourned his wife and in that case, even the public would support his marriage. Not allowing that to happen is a way for my heartless grandpa to give some justice to Lin Yan."

Lin Yan was shocked. She never knew that the old man actually cared for her, even to the point of giving her justice.

Li Lingyun saw Shen Yi surprised look and continued "Although he never showed it but Lin Yan reminded him of my mother."

"And what about you?"

"What about me?"

"Did you also see Lin Yan as your mother"

"No. To me, Lin Yan was a weak and naive woman who was blinded by her love for Li Jun but she was also the only woman I could trust with my most price treasure."

Lin Yan knew he was talking about Li Xiao. She had always wondered why this cold and scary man would leave his daughter with her anytime he was going for a long business trip, turns out that he trusted her. Those words made Lin Yan to have a feeling in her heart that she could not explain at the moment. She have always felt that she wasted her life, no one value her, no one cared about her apart from her brother, she hated them, she hated every member of the Li family. But now hearing how the old man saw her and how he planned to take justice for her and how this man who never trust easily trusted her and never once despise her made her emotional and to be honest she felt stupid feeling this way. She knew what she was about to do was stupid and she would probably regret it but at this moment she needed it, so she asked "Li Lingyun, would you allow me to hug you?"

Li Lingyun frowned at her request. Shen Yi have never once allowed him to come close to her and even less ask for it. And to be honest, he have never willingly come close to a woman. The night he spent with Shen Yi only happened because both of them were drugged, he wanted to refuse her but before he could even say no, he felt a soft body embracing him already, her hands held his waist tightly. At this moment he could have separated her from himself, a lot of women have tried to get close to him like this and he have always pushed them away but why couldn't he do so now? Why couldn't he push Shen Yi away like he have always done with the other women. He was sure he felt nothing romantic for her, even though they have been married for three and a half years. His thought came to a halt when he felt the wetness in his shirt. She was crying? But why? They have only be talking about Lin Yan so what exactly was making her to cry?.

Ever since Shen Yi got into that accident, Li Lingyun felt that he could no longer understand this woman, so without giving it much thought anymore, Li Lingyun wrapped his hands around Lin Yan and embraced her tightly, he didn't know why but he felt like that was what she needed at that moment.
