Chapitre 3: First Look At The System

Alright let's recap. System how long have I been here?
[You have been here for 6 months, Host.]
Right, 6 months, 6 whole months during those 6 months, I've come into terms with my fate.
Firstly, my parents.. They are a couple of Impurities called Basara's, before I explain what Basara's are let's first explain what Impurities or Kegare are.
Impurities, are monsters you can generally find here in Magano, Magano is an alternative reality of this universe's Earth, it's a dimension that mirrors earth but instead it became a barren wasteland.
Why you might ask? Going by what Seigen said in the anime it's because this realm is capable of absorbing the negative emotions of Humans, that negative emotion it absorbs is used to create what we call now as Impurities.
Now let's move on to Basara's, a Basara, is a form of Impurity. Basara's are essentially an evolved version of Impurities, with the ability to speak and are massively powerful.
You get the gist of it now? Right now let's go back to how I've lived this past few months.
By day one, I woke up with a big suprise imagine getting abducted by a strange looking humanoid and suddenly becoming their child, it's a big weird innit?
By then I spent the majority of time browsing the system and it's functions but we'll go to that territory later, for now it's story time.
Basically I've lived these past 6 months in the care of Sutara and Asuha, my Basara Parents, and their a kind bunch. I guess that saying was true, Never Judge a Book by its Cover.
For the first few months, I've been given nothing to eat, but I was strangely fine in the mean time Sutara and Asuha.. no I guess it's father and mother now, they prepared a room for me inside their house.
This room had all the essentials I, a baby could ever need. One a nice bed, two it's massive so it's essentially also playing room. Thirdly GRASS yes grass, this room had grass and even fireflies in it and also a RIVER, it's a peaceful ass design. I dig it, big praises to the chef.
But that was basically it, I've lived a perfectly lived a perfect baby life alongside my perfectly normal Basara Parents.
This is lit.
Now let's move on to the system.
The [Ultimate Gamer System] for now, is a normal system with 3 functions. But the system said I would unlock more as I grow up, so there's that.
For now the three functions in the system are as follows:

[Skills]
[Quests/Missions]
They are self explanatory, Status let's me see my health and stats and all that. Skills let me see the skills I have and what level they are, Quests are tasks that I have to do to grow stronger, y'know the normal stuff.
Speaking of Quests, you're boy here hasn't been slacking off. I've been using my 6 months of time wisely, every week for the past 6 months I've been getting a repeating quest.

[The Host needs to grow up strong and healthy, so the system has issued a task for the host.
Tasks to do:
[30 Minutes of crawling: Complete]
[Ten minutes of touching grass: Complete]
[60 minutes of Family-Bonding: Complete]
[96 hours of sleep: Complete]
[Reward(s): +2 Status Points, 10 UP]
For the past 6 months, I've been grinding the hell out of this quest. But it only popped up once a week so it was limited, but still it's a great source of stat points.
'Status' I call out in my mind as a screen showcasing my hard work popped up.

So far that's was how much my status has grown. My Intelligence has always been 20 by the looks of it but my physical stats were growing slowly but their growing alright.
The Ultima Points were also pretty self explanatory, I don't need to ask the system to know this is like it's currency system. I'll probably unlock a shop along the way or something RNG related, or both?
Meanwhile my special stats, aside from Charisma nothing has really changed. But damn look at that Luck, a whole 50 luck points.
Surely I would be able to get 5 stars with every roll now right? Hell yeah.
Oh right, system what is the average of strength of people in this world? Exorcists included.
[Notice: The average strength of Adult Humans in this world would be 10, stat wise. While the average Exorcists would have 50 stat wise.]
Damn, pretty strong. If I were to use all my stat points right now then I still wouldn't be able to contend with even the weakest one.
But no matter, it'll only be a quick fix once the real action starts.
Speaking off, action. Didn't canon start when Rokuro was 14..? Fuck.

"Yoshihira.." Sutara called out to the baby on his cradle.
His smile was small, but it was still a smile. The child brought about great happiness for the Basara couple.
"Is that the name you chose for him, Sutara?" Asuha said as she leaned on his shoulder.
"Yeah.. Yoshihira, this child posseses a tranquil smile, it's like he is never bothered. But he is also a carrier of great luck, I can feel it Asuha, this child is loved by the world. So his name should be Yoshihira.." Sutara gently poked the face of the sleeping baby.
"Mm.. a good omen is it?" Asuha said as she closed her eyes, her thoughts a complicated mix.
"We've never been blessed with a child, but then this child just suddenly pops up out of nowhere.. So maybe it really is a Good Omen that we were able to meet this child." Sutara nodded at her words, as weird as this Pseudo family is. They could accept that weirdness, all for the promise of a happy family.
