Emiya's residence.
The living room of the house was packed with me, Emiya, Arthur, Le Fay and the Servants from the legend of King Arthur. Grandpa had gone to the Underworld to explore, Hercules was still Hercules, and Gilgamesh, Enkidu, Medusa, Fou, and Tia had decided to visit Kyoto since the latter wanted to continue her gastronomic tour. I would have gone with them too, but in between I remembered some unfinished business.
The five-piece fused Excalibur lay on the table in front of us and shone with a soft golden light.
Honestly, now I have no idea what to do with it. Getting the remaining two shards isn't a problem since I should just ask for it and I'll have it, but what next? I'm not a swordsman and have never been into it, and giving it to any faction is a total dick move. Besides, why would a weapon potentially capable of defeating the Beast be here?
- Do you think you could re-forge it, Archer?
- Hmm..." he rumbled thoughtfully, "After you upgraded my Holy Count and I got the Muramasa skills? In theory, yes, but I'll need the remaining two pieces. Besides, what do you want to make of it now? Given your "sane" mind, of course.
- At first I wanted to give it a concept like I did with Artoria's sword, but now I think that's bullshit. And so... - I scratched my chin and looked at a certain knight - I suggest giving it to Mo-chan, any objections?
No one was surprised at my words except Mo-chan herself. She even missed what I called her. Her eyes went wide, her body didn't move, and her gaze darted between the sword and Artoria, who only nodded, as did Merlin.
- Good choice.
- Indeed," Morgan supported her, oddly enough, "Clarenth's emergency replacement will come in handy.
- Good for you, Sir Mordred. - Arthur said calmly, and Le Fay and Lancelot nodded.
- 'N-but... But I...' Mordred hesitated, looking at them.
- Perhaps you are not yet old enough to be king and pull out Caliburn," Artoria began, looking at her 'son' with a smile, "But to wield that sword? I don't see the problem with that.
- Father, I... - still hesitantly mumbled the confused Mordred under the calm and confident gazes of those present.
- If it's hard for you to choose now, I suggest you just wait until you're ready," I shrugged, drawing attention to myself, "Anyway, there are no other candidates for this role. And Emiya and I can create Caliburn for you when you want it. To test ourselves, so to speak.
- I... understand... - Mordred nodded uncertainly - Thank you, Master, mother.
What a sweetheart she is. And people wonder why she is the best Saber? Her boyish appearance and demeanor coupled with moments like this are simply a sight to behold. As a matter of fact, she was now wearing clothes similar to what she wore in Apocrypha: short denim shorts, a white top and jacket.
When she saw that Artoria preferred the homemade clothes of the Servant outfit, she began to imitate her. Morgan didn't react to it in any way, seeing it as a trivial thing. And anyway...
- Oya? How does it feel to be a mother, Shirou-kun? - I grinned, to which Archer's eyebrow twitched - Good training for the time when you have your own birth children, huh?
- Did you have to interrupt the moment? - He asked in an irritated tone, then rolled his eyes - And I'm not likely to have any. I'm a Servant and I'm already dead.
Well, I wouldn't say that. I can just fully resurrect him, breaking Alaya's contract in the process. At least this version of him. And then there's the Fujimaru twins, his and Rin's children.
- Well, now that that's over with," I started and headed for the bedroom, "I'm going to bed. Everyone-
TRESK
After walking only a couple of meters, I instantly froze as a dark blue axe landed a millimeter from my head, making a huge crack in the brand new wall. My head slowly turned back, where I was greeted by a smiling Fairy Queen with her hand still outstretched.
- Aren't you forgetting something, husband? - She asked caustically, putting a hand to my cheek.
- No? - I replied, not realizing what she wanted, and then quickly jumped aside.
BANG
Where I had been standing a moment ago, or rather where my crotch had been, now showed a hole the size of my fist. It had been left by Morgan, of course, by shooting a magic projectile into it.
- Your Majesty, don't you think you're overreacting? I have no idea what you want. - I said with a raised eyebrow.
- Oh? - she breathed dramatically - But that was only a day ago. Or have you forgotten what you promised me?
At first I didn't understand what she meant, but after a long thirty seconds, it came to me. I stared at her with a blank stare that had been elevated to the absolute.
Oh, come on, she didn't mean it.
- You do realize that I just couldn't physically prepare something worthwhile, right?
- It's a shame, but it's really not my problem, is it?
I looked at the Servants for support. And you know what? She wasn't there. Merlin shrugged, Lancelot and Mordred turned away, Arthur and Le Fay smiled awkwardly, Artoria shook her head silently, and Emiya...
Uh-oh... The bastard was smiling as if he would break his contract with Alaya. His smile was so wide and satisfied that just a little more and his mouth would have torn open.
Noticing my gaze, he slowly raised his hand and made a decapitation gesture. At all of this, two eyebrows twitched at once, as did the edge of my mouth.
I will have my revenge, Mother Emiya. You know that. In the meantime... a certain fairy needs to be dealt with....

Kuoh.
- I expected many things, husband, but not this. Definitely. - Morgan said in a calm tone, to which I just shrugged and went on with what I was doing.
Hmm... Pretty good. Sometimes it's worth taking your mind off normal food and switching to something like this.
I completely ignored the stares our table was receiving. The cafe patrons found it far more interesting and important than the food in front of them. I even noticed that some man had stopped ordering and was just standing in front of the cash register. The employees, however, were no different.
Where was I taking Morgan? Well.
- How am I supposed to eat this dish? - She asked, holding the burger in her hand and staring at it like it was something ridiculous.
McDuck. fucking McDuck.
For a normal person, such a choice of date place would be rather odd, but in this case? Morgan doesn't think in such things at all, which I took advantage of.
The funny thing is, the others know it too. At the other end of the room sat Archer, Merlin, and Artoria, who was munching on the mountain of burgers in front of her. You'd think, of course, that the King of Knights was suddenly hungry and they'd decided to stop by the same cafe at the same time, but WHO would actually BELIEVE that?
- Just eating? - I tried to answer, to which Morgan tilted her head to the side, which looked a little adorable - Well, like bread, I'd say. You take a bite and hold it with your hand.
After giving me a brief glance, she took a slow and almost gingerly bite of her burger. Just a small bite, and then, covering her mouth with her hand, began to chew it. And, of course, she smeared herself with the sauce left around the edges of her mouth.
- Hmmm... Not bad, but it could have been better. The sauce overpowers the natural flavor of the other ingredients. - Morgan concluded dutifully, swallowing a bite.
I silently wiped the sauce off her face with a napkin.
Honestly, I feel like I'm babysitting. Even though outwardly there's no child here at all. I must admit, the contrast of her sensual and gifted appearance along with her behavior at the moment makes me cringe.
The queen of the fairies watched my actions with interest. Her eyes, danced with puzzlement and childlike incomprehension, stayed fixed on my face as I brushed her cheeks and lips.
- How unusual," she said without breaking my gaze, "Why are you doing this when I could do it myself? I find it...
- Illogical?
- Maybe..." she nodded, "This is the first time it's happened to me, and I don't know how I should react.
There was silence between us. And not just silence; my hearing picked up nothing but silence. I mean, nothing at all. No sounds or anything while our gazes still met each other.
Hmm... Had her face always been this close?
And searching for an answer to that question, I suddenly felt a familiar presence almost right next to me.
- Your coffee, dear visitor.
- But I didn't order coffee-" I was about to say, but stopped when I saw who had brought it.
Long black hair tied back in a ponytail, violet eyes, huge breasts, and waves of "Ara-ara."
My eyebrow twitched.
Where the hell did you come from?!
