As Ain walked toward the school gate, he pulled out his phone and began delving into the intricacies of weaponry. His goal was to design and add his own creations to his arsenal. With the help of the Algorithm, he could effortlessly master these concepts.
The Algorithm was a formidable tool, rivaling even the Flugel in its capabilities. It bore a striking resemblance to Rimuru's Great Sage.
Great Sage has the ability to analyze and learn from devoured forces, the Algorithm also works the same, to quickly analyze the damage it absorbs, providing detailed blueprints for creating similar attacks or nullifying them.
While taking damage might seem like an odd method for learning, it's actually the fastest way to capture and analyze attack patterns because being attacked means receiving the sample of the attacks. However, This doesn't mean that Ain has to be a masochist to use this ability. As long as a blueprint or detailed concept was available, the Algorithm could help him learn and adapt quickly.
With the vast resources available on the Internet, Ain decided to focus his study on explosive weapons, such as hand grenades, C4, and various other explosives. He chose these because their blueprints are relatively straightforward and easy to understand.
It's definitely not because he has a special affinity for explosives, like Klee does. Um! No, that's not it at all.
In no time at all, Ain mastered the creation of hand grenades, smoke grenades, flashbangs, and more.
This Algorithm is truly a godsend for anyone who wants to learn efficiently without putting in excessive effort.
With his construction power activated, Ain quickly produced a smoke grenade. To his astonishment, it cost him nothing—constructing the grenade required zero energy!
This means Ain could make a grenade in just a second, equating to 60 grenades in a minute, without depleting his energy reserves.
It's an absolute cheat!
In fact, if Ain kept producing grenades at this rate, he felt he could recreate Konan's iconic scene, where she unleashes an outrageous number of paper bombs.
Knowing this, Ain continued to produce grenades, storing them in his Arsenal space. By leveraging the Algorithm, he effectively created an "auto-farm" for grenades.
"Umu, I'm so smart I'm practically blushing," Ain murmured to himself, feeling a swell of pride.
As his auto-farm continued to churn out grenades, Ain shifted his focus to finding blueprints for guns. Unfortunately, most of the blueprints available were lackluster. Guns are not typically shared freely on the internet, but there's always the option of purchasing them from online shops.
He navigated to an online shopping platform, skimming past unrelated items like potions and magic swords—he might consider those later, but not right now.
After a bit of browsing, Ain finally found what he was looking for. The gun in question resembled a Kriss Vector. While Ain wasn't a gun enthusiast, he had come across discussions and reviews about the Kriss Vector from gun influencers. It struck him as an ideal choice for a newbie.
The Kriss Vector boasted a high fire rate, minimal recoil, and reduced muzzle rise. Additionally, it offered numerous configuration and accessory options tailored to the user's needs.
Most importantly, it looked Cool and handsome!
After all, while strength can be developed, handsomeness is forever!
He quickly ordered the blueprint, after confirming his purchase
He got an email from the seller, the insides were Kriss Vector blueprint along with the accessories and bullet model.
Before Ain could open the blueprint in detail, his senses flared, alerting him to a group of people blocking his path. Coincidentally, they were standing right in front of the school gate.
Ain frowned. After the Awakening Ceremony, students were usually allowed to go home and familiarize themselves with their newfound powers. There was no reason for anyone to loiter at the school gate, especially in a group.
His annoyance grew as he recognized the leader of the group—a guy who had consistently caused him trouble, driven by petty jealousy. Ain could guess the source of this hostility: before his awakening, the previous Ain had been the top student, excelling in both academics and sports. His good looks attracted attention too, making him the object of envy among many boys.
But now, things have changed. The former number-one student had supposedly awakened a useless attribute, and Ain knew what that meant. To those who had always envied him, it was an opportunity. After all, Ain was an orphan with no family backing. In this world, status mattered, and without the protection of a powerful background, anyone could become an easy target.
"Now that I'm no longer a threat in their eyes, they're going to pounce," Ain thought grimly. Handsome or not, awakening useless attributes made you nothing more than cannon fodder.
This explained why the original Ain had always kept his distance from others, maintaining a cold demeanor. after all, one misstep could lead to endless trouble—and probably, this is how original Ain's untimely death.
The certain someone must worry that if the original Ain awakened something powerful, that person would even be more powerless.
As Ain walked closer, he could feel the intensity of their stares. His eyes narrowed as he recognized the leader of the group—Max Rungkad, one of the more influential students at the academy, but certainly not because of his skills or academic performance. Max had a family backing him, and with that came arrogance. He was a Rare-type Awakener, having unlocked a 3-star potential, which had given him a strong advantage over most students. But it was never enough for him. He needed to be the best, and Ain had always been in his way.
Max had never missed an opportunity to make life difficult for Ain. But before his awakening, Ain's strength, intellect, and talent kept him mostly untouchable. Now, however, things were different—or so Max believed.
"Well, well, look who it is. The academy's former golden boy," Max sneered, arms crossed as he stepped forward. His group, mostly hangers-on and lackeys, chuckled along as if on cue.
Ain stopped a few meters from them, his face blank but his mind working rapidly. He'd been expecting this. After all, bullies like Max thrived on seeing others fall. He just didn't expect it to happen this soon. The ink on his awakening results wasn't even dry yet, and already, they were here to test the waters.
"What do you want, Max?" Ain's voice was steady, calm. He wasn't in the mood for games, but he knew what was coming.
Max smirked, a malicious glint in his eyes. "I just wanted to see how you're holding up, Ain. You know, after awakening that trash attribute. What was it again? Sense Augmentation?" He let out a mocking laugh, and his cronies followed suit.
Ain sighed internally. He could feel the urge to just end this quickly rising within him. He wasn't the same Ain anymore. Max didn't know it, but the System had already given him more power than this arrogant bully could comprehend.
'Also, does the principal not keep this a secret, It's not even an hour after I left the principal room' thought Ain
"Yeah, it's Sense Augmentation," Ain replied nonchalantly, playing along. He'd already decided to keep his true abilities hidden, so for now, he'd let Max believe what he wanted. "I'm guessing you came here to gloat about your own awakening?"
Max puffed up his chest, clearly eager to talk about himself. "I'm a Rare-awakener now," he boasted, his voice dripping with pride. "And with a 3-star potential, I'm already on track to be one of the best. Unlike you."
Ain raised an eyebrow, forcing himself not to roll his eyes. Max's overconfidence would have been amusing if it weren't so tedious. "Congratulations," Ain said, his tone dry. "Now, if that's all, I've got places to be."
Max's smirk faltered for a moment. Clearly, Ain's lack of reaction wasn't what he had expected. He had probably imagined Ain crumbling under the weight of his failure, begging for mercy or shrinking away in shame. But Ain remained calm, indifferent even, and that only seemed to irritate Max further.
"You think you can just walk away?" Max growled, stepping closer, his eyes narrowing. "You're nothing now, Ain. You don't get to ignore me."
Ain met his gaze steadily. He could feel the tension building, but it didn't faze him. He could handle Max easily, but getting into a physical confrontation here, right in front of the school, would be more trouble than it was worth. Still, he wasn't going to let this go on much longer.
"I don't have time for this," Ain said coolly. "Move."
Max's face twisted in anger, and for a moment, it looked like he might actually try something. But before he could make a move, one of his lackeys stepped forward, probably thinking he could win favor by being Max's muscle. The guy swung at Ain, clearly expecting an easy hit.
Ain sighed. He didn't want to reveal too much, but he wasn't going to just take the hit either. Without missing a beat, Ain sidestepped the punch, grabbing the lackey's wrist mid-swing and twisting it just enough to send a clear message. The guy yelped in pain, dropping to his knees as Ain released him.
Max's eyes widened, surprise flickering across his face for a split second before he quickly masked it with a sneer. "You'll regret this, Ain," he spat, though the threat sounded hollow now.
"Maybe," Ain replied, turning his back on Max and his group. "But not today."
As he walked away, leaving Max fuming behind him, Ain couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction. The old Ain may have been isolated and cautious, but the new Ain had power, and he wasn't afraid to use it. Still, he'd have to be careful. Max wasn't the type to let things go so easily.
That doesn't mean Ain will be afraid, just give him a day, and his automatic grenade farm will produce 17.000 for each type of grenade, enough to destroy a group of Elite-Class Magus/Warriors within a radius of 200 meters.
Give him a week, his explosion force will be equal to city-level destruction.
So in this regards, Ain just need to stay low-key for a day.
Looking at his phone, the time was already 4 PM, Ain decided to go home and start learning about weaponry and survival kit as he planned to go on exploring the world tomorrow.
