I calmly walked to the entrance of the medium-sized village I once saw from far away with my [Clairvoyance]
Despite how calm I look right now, it was actually because I felt released from my nervousness. For an entire hour, I was focused on many tasks.
Preserving my stamina, being careful of getting closer to any enemy and this included slimes, and being careful of the land to not trip on a little thing and get injured meaninglessly.
I was mentally tired and was glad that I got into this village.
I never felt this scared of the outside and for the first time, understood the feeling of that isekai protagonist who despite having a cheat, insisted on having a companion to go on travel with him.
"Halt! Show me your identification card." I was stopped by one of the guards.
However having no card, I had no choice but to express the lack of the required item.
"That outfit of your... Are you an outsider or someone not from here?" the guard asked.
"Something like that," I answered the guard's question making him nod.
Afterward was easy, 3 guards accompanied me somewhere and entering a building, they examined me.
Confirming that I had no dangerous tools or magic in me, they made an identification card. I don't know how this works in another country but it gave me a way of identifying myself.
"What's your name? I have to write it out on an ID Card." the person writing a card with her bare hand(?) asked me my name.
It's been 3 years since I've got asked my name by a woman. While secretly celebrating on breaking my unwanted record, I said. "Rein. I'm Rein Carnation."
"What a weird name. I'll just write Rein in, is that alright?" she says.
"Uh, yeah. That's convenient too." I said matching to her. Rein was a username I used on almost every platform.
It had a meaning of reincarnation, declaring to myself that I want to make a change upon myself and undergo a rebirth to turn into a better person.
However, as ironic as it is, as long as I kept using that username in my previous world, I wouldn't probably have turned into a better person.
Taking the ID Card handed to me. I left the place and headed to a different spot. I wanted an inn... Or rather, I wanted a tax-free house if possible.
But everything costs money, obviously. As a fellow loser in the previous world, the method I know to make money is limited.
And among that limited method, the shortest, yet the most, but also the most dangerous way to make money was through the quest from the guild.
Before that, I sold the clothes I had right now and changed to the cheapest dress to the same building.
Perhaps it's an attire from a different (modern) world, I was able to sell them for an astonishing 500 gold.
Deducting 30 gold from the new clothes I bought, I headed toward the guild headquarters.

Inside the guild, headquarter was louder than shown in the manga, the atmosphere inside here was accurate to Fairy Tail's guild.
Drinking battle, arm wrestling... slap tournament?
'Although I'm not good in this kind of festival-like place, at least the atmosphere here isn't too bad.' I thought as I walked toward the receptionist.
"Welcome! May I hear out your requests?" the beautiful receptionist asked me.
A silver hair with pointy ears, perhaps from her inexperience in it, her smile seemed a bit fake-ish. 'Cool beauty-type of character! I don't hate it.'
"I'd like to register as an adventurer but is that possible here?" I got to the point. As much as I want to talk with her, I had no required social skills and I will feel bad for wasting her time.
"If that is so, please come with me to the registration room." the cold-elf receptionist stood from her sit and asked me to follow her.

Beyond the door, I saw a huge orbital object levitating into the air. As the elf asked me to do so, I put my hand in it and my hand was just sucked in.
At the same time, the orbital object emitted an intense blue light and I felt a small pain in my thumb.
After the blue light diminished, I felt small exhaustion from my body and took out my hand from the orbital object, I found out I was holding a card.
= = =
[Rein] Lv: 3 - E Rank
Class: None.
= = =
I saw simple information on the card I was holding.
"You have been registered as an adventurer. Please be reassured as anyone starts as an E Rank adventurer. As for the registration fee, it will be 10 golds," the cold-elf said in a 'script-reading' manner.
I silently paid the registration fee and got out of the registration room.
After I exited the room, the guild headquarter was silent as one group was causing a ruckus.
"You're kicked out from our party." a blonde-haired knight said to a child-like man who still had baby fat in his face.
Behind the blonde-haired knight were a mage and a priest knight, and most importantly, they were both girls.
"La-Lashur-san, why are you asking me to quit the party? Did I do something wrong?" the child said innocently.
"Isn't it obvious? Shouta. It's because you're a fraud. You lied to us, you betrayed our trust. Kicking you out is our goodwill on you!" Lashur said confusing Shouta even more.
"Bu-but, I don't remember lying to you...?" Shouta said.
"Haah. Shouta, your blindness to your fault annoys me so much. Ignorant is a goddamn sin, you retard." Lashur said.
'Still... This is a really good show, ain't it? Though I certainly don't want to stand in that boy's position.' I thought.
"Since you don't understand it, I will tell you. You approached us, saying you had a Unique Skill called... Automatic or something was it? We generously invited you but on a mission, you said your unique skill can make you automatically run?"
'This Lashur or whatever he is called really doesn't want this Shouta to be invited to any party, huh? How generous of him to explain how useless Shouta is.'
I prepared myself. Why am I preparing myself so? Because I really wanted to recruit this main character-like person.
"You should be thankful to us for not throwing you into a dungeon. Also, don't expect us to give you your share of the reward for the last mission, right?" Lashur said.
In terms of how innocent he looks, Shouta didn't or couldn't refute anything Lashur said. Not to mention response, Shouta couldn't even look Lashur straightly.
"What is this ruckus? All of you disband right now," thankfully the cold-elf lady who just exited the registration fee called out.
'Does she have some amazing reputation before she became a guild receptionist?' My instinct as an author rang as I found how easily the adventurer listened to her call, Lashur wasn't an exception as well.
From my 1080p, ultra-clear peripheral vision, although I wasn't directly looking at them, I could see the cold-elf walk up to Shouta and say something to him while patting his head.
"So the two are related in some way," I murmured to myself before briefly tasting the flavor of despair.
I had no chance in the first place, the cold-elf was warm toward Shouta and she must be one of his future harem members.
The after-taste of despair lingered in my brain but soon, I stood up from my sit and swiftly ran toward Shouta.
"Hey little guy, would you like to join to my party?" I asked him, almost looking at him as if he was easy prey.
"Huh?" Shouta looked around him for a brief moment before pointing finger to himself.
"Are you talking about me?" Shouta said.
"Who else would it be? I want you... I only have you!" pausing for a moment, I copied Llena's and invited Shouta.
