Chapitre 277: I Won't Betray You

 "If you need to, you stay at Teddy's shop. I'll pick you up this afternoon. How about it?" Evan held Luci's hand from the restaurant to Teddy's shop. For security reasons (even though Evan didn't want to part with Luci and at the same time didn't want other men to see how beautiful Luci's face was) he finally escorted her.

 Evan thought it was the only safe way to protect Luci from the coquettishness of other men.

 "I'm not sure about that because I have various reasons. You know his wife doesn't like me," answered Luci with a straight face. Her eyes stared at the trees moving around her.

 "Why does she hate you?" Evan doesn't know what Teddy's relationship with Hans is. With his hands still tightly gripping Luci's fingers, Evan gave his full attention to listening.
