Chapitre 101: Aurora Learns the Bitter Truth

Aurora and Xander showered together, got dressed and went downstairs to have breakfast together. As soon as breakfast was over, Xander turned to her.

"Sweetheart, I have something important to speak to you about. Do you mind joining me in my study?"

Aurora held his gaze for a moment as she put the napkin down on the table. Gauging his facial expression, she understood it was a serious matter he wanted to talk about and slowly nodded.

"That's okay. We can go now," she said to him, wondering what it was. She was done with receiving enough bad news and just wanted to live the rest of her life in peace.

Xander instructed Nene to bring tea for them before leading the way to his study. He gestured for Aurora to sit with him on the two-sitter couch in the sitting area and waited until Nene had served them some tea and left.
