'Our mate is so beautiful. Isn't she, Alastair?' Kirill sighed lightly as he watched the girl he had not seen for years. Not once did he move his gaze from Samantha, memorizing her features all over again even though he already knew how she looked.

'Yes, she is beautiful.'  Alastair too agreed with him, his eyes fixed on the girl who was still starring at Kirill in awe.

Even though quite some time had passed since he had brought her here to meet Kirill, the girl had not taken her eyes off Kirill, still awed by the gigantic beast. Her eyes were shining brighter than the torches in the cave, and just like Kirill, he too was mesmerized by her.

Samantha had no idea about the silent conversation between Kirill and Alastair. She was more focused on the animal she had never imagined to see. The brown scaly beast was still bowing in front of her even after she tried to convince it to lift its head.
