The recent events were all written at the start of the novel.

In the novel, it says that the world experienced a sudden, drastic change of weather for a few days, and after the meteor shower, all the people suddenly fell asleep.

When the people finally woke up, they woke up in different categories.

Some woke up as normal as ever, some woke up with superpowers, and some never woke up and became zombies.

Luciel really thought that he had finally escaped living in such a chaotic world.

But unfortunately, he only enjoyed it for a few weeks, only to learn that he would experience another apocalypse.

He really wanted to kill whoever transmigrated him into this world.

They were so cruel as to let him experience the life he was yearning for, only to be dashed in just a few weeks.

What was worse was that the meteor shower would already be happening in just a few hours.
