Chapitre 56: Darkness and Light
A young man with black hair and brown eyes opened his eyes in a white room.
He got up from the bed and stretched his arms.
But soon after he realized where he was and...
"I have fallen asleep in the hospital again!" He exclaimed worried.
The young man looked around with fear that a certain frog-faced doctor would scold him or some nurse would tease him for his negligence.
Around him there were only medical equipment and white curtains.
"This isn't the hospital room where I usually sleep..." He was confused.
The last thing he remembers is that he was on a bus with Karui heading to the District 7 underground business district for a date.
The black-haired youth was naturally Kanaru.
"There was a flash on the bus and... NO!"
Kanaru ran out of the room and looked for someone.
A long black-haired nurse was monitoring the corridor when she saw a young black-haired man running.

Kanaru's eyes widened and he ran out of the place.

He didn't realize someone was watching him too closely.

Kanaru was in the elevator with an indescribable expression.
'The first floor is used for reception, administration and the ICU.' he thought.
'If something happens to her I…'
"No, she is a strong woman!"
The elevator door opened and he ran straight into the ICU area, ignoring the reception area.
Once he reached that area, he desperately searched for his girlfriend's last name on the door plates.
Although he knew that in the ICU her last name was unlikely to be placed on the door, he didn't lose hope.
"Tachibana, Tachibana, Tachibana..." He kept repeating that last name as he ran.
Many people noticed him but didn't say anything, just gave him a sideways glance.
After a while Kanaru reached the end of a corridor and there he noticed a door.
Kanaru noticed the last name Tachibana on the plaque on that door.
He immediately stopped in front of that dead woman.
His breathing was irregular.
Even with the best doctor in the world in charge of this hospital, he was very concerned for her.
He was about to open the door when he felt a presence behind him.
He immediately turned.
There were medical personnel around, but none were paying attention to Kanaru.
He just shook his head and entered Karui's medical room.

It's funny how a life can change completely from one moment to another.
A person who swore by his life to do something and in the end manages to do the opposite can suffer a lot inside, so painful that you would even consider ending it all.
Kanaru was surprised to see his girlfriend with an immaculate body.
His long black hair and eyes of the same color.
From his point of view, she is the most beautiful woman, but her eyes did not show that kindness that he always loved about her.

There was someone else in the room.

A blurred silhouette was behind Kanaru and the frog-faced doctor.
That figure was watching everything.
"It's been almost 1 month now, why doesn't he wake up?" That figure muttered in a worried tone.

Everything was shattered, like a broken mirror.
Everything was plunged into darkness.
In the place there was only a young man with black hair emitting a white aura.
He slowly got up and turned around.
"The world of dreams is the most sacred thing a person has. This is where a person hides his greatest wishes and regrets." Kanaru said in a cold tone.
The blurred silhouette approached Kanaru.
"I'm so sorry! I was so afraid that you wouldn't wake up that I had to intervene!" She in a sad tone. She continued.
"I have seen your dreams all these days, in all of them there was that girl. I know how much she meant to you. I know you feel very lonely and you want to do everything that she could not do in life, but... "
The world changed.
It was a hospital room, very similar to Kanaru's dream.
In the place there was a woman with long golden hair looking into the red eyes of a young man with dark gray hair with a sad expression.
The young man tried to get out of bed, but was stopped by a strong hug from the young girl.
"...but I won't let you do everything yourself!" Misaki exclaimed.
Her tears began to fall.
Kanaru unconsciously opened his mouth to say something, but was ultimately unable to do so.
He was stunned by her words, but even more by her tight hug.
It was the warmth he thought he would never feel again.
He unconsciously reciprocated her hug.
"It's okay, Misaki-san..."
That was the first time Kanaru called him by name.
And that was also the day Kanaru realized that she wouldn't be a simple friend in his life.
