Chapitre 90: Concern
Kanaru reappeared in Misaki's room in Tokiwadai Middle School.
Since he met Misaki, he always found it curious that she didn't have a roommate, but she told him it was due to the 'persuasion' of her ability.
Misaki was sleeping, but upon noticing someone's presence, she immediately woke up.
"You are late." She said with an unsatisfied tone.
Kanaru smiled and he lay down next to her.
"I already did what I told you. Mugino Shizuri will do the opening of the festival with you. " Kanaru said.
Misaki blinked.
"Mugino? The rank 4?" She was surprised to hear that name.
Misaki didn't know that woman personally, but she heard rumors about her business and character.
Kanaru closed his eyes.
"Don't worry about her…"
"Misaki, we won't see each other for a while. There is an enemy that I must defeat." Kanaru said in a taciturn tone.
"An enemy? It's dangerous?" Misaki said.
In reality, she knew that Kanaru was probably the strongest in this world.
Kanaru opened his eyes and he smiled.
"That isn't the case... I just need time to defeat him."
Misaki hugged him.
"Is there anything I can help you with, Kanaru?"
He shook his head.
Misaki sighed.
"Since our relationship began, I've known that there would be moments like this and I've always been ready for it. After all, you are very strong and I don't excel in combat. Kanaru, you'll always be a hero to me and the man I love, don't forget that."
"Misaki..."
Kanaru didn't hold back and hugged her back.
After a while Kanaru got out of bed.
"Kanaru ... take care of yourself, I love you." Misaki said in a loving and at the same time concerned tone.
"I love you too, Misaki. Make sure you go to all your classes and have fun with your friends. " Kanaru said in a loving tone.
Immediately after saying that, he placed a passionate kiss on her lips.
She reciprocated.
Sometime later, Kanaru disappeared in a white flash.
Misaki looked at the ceiling.
She knew Kanaru's personality very well. She knew Kanaru wouldn't do this alone if he wasn't confident enough, but she also knew Kanaru's overprotective side… maybe he was just protecting her hidden from the truth and that thought was what made her heart uneasy.
"Exterior..." Misaki muttered as she closed her eyes.
