Rachel's POV

"Welcome boss," the security guards dressed in their usual uniform greeted as I made my way to the entrance of R&D in white sneakers that corresponded with my brown dress, definitely not having the energy for heels.

"Hello," I waved and smiled in response as I strolled past them and entered into the building.

Handbag on my shoulder, I scrolled and typed on my phone as I found my path to my office, occasionally responding and waving in response as my employees acknowledged my presence.

Not raising my head, I knew the moment I reached my office. Shifting my attention from the device for a moment I unlocked the barrier and entered the room.

I wandered straight to my desk and removed the designer bag I was carrying to position on top the perfectly carved object that housed documents and a computer system.
