The crate fell with a heavy thud on the deck, and the crew hovered around the wooden box, curious to look inside. The men moved out of the way as XueYa stepped over, curiosity biting his heals, but he kept his visage calm.
"What is it, what is ittttt, show me tooooo!"
Tao was jumping around like an excited puppy, pushing and shoving all the burly men out of his way to see. His fingers reached for the lid, but XueYa smacked him over the head first.
"Behind the wheel, Tao. Now."
"B-but-!" Tao evaded XueYa's boot just in time and scurried away.
"Not fair!"
"You never were a fair one. Now get that wind spell ready! Why are we still near the harbour?"
"Ah, did you just call me ugly?!"
"I think for a sea monkey, you are rather pretty, Tao."
"...!" Tao stomped his way to the upper deck, scrunching his face into an unattractive pout - but XueYa's attention was back on the crate.
