Diluc killed Rom with little to no difficulties.
All he had to do was kill a couple overgrown spiders and slap Rom until he keeled over and gave Diluc all of his blood echoes.
He expected it to be more difficult. However, it made sense, Rom was created to instill patience in the player. Against Diluc who literally had his life on the line, he was able to wait a second in order to get a safe attack off.
Therefore, the blood moon rose.
Next on the list was the One Reborn.
However, Diluc also did a speed run for this boss. It was somewhat boring fighting every single boss whenever you wanted to increase your NG+ by 1. Therefore, he used glitches in order to skip or make bosses easier.
He didn't try this on the Shadows of Yharnam because that glitch required the A.I. to glitch out.
However, this boss could be skipped with a simple jump, and jump Diluc did. He saw the monster on the street pause as if affected by Dio's stand.
Without worrying, he walked his way through the disgusting town, collecting some Blood Chunks along the way.
Eldritch beings roamed the streets and patiently waited within the dark crevices of the buildings. Even Diluc who dies multiple times per night felt a shiver crawl up his spine.
There is only so resistant one person can be to fear. And cosmic and eldritch beings are about how scary something can physically get.
They look horrifying, they're strong, and nothing about them tells you about what they're capable of.
Well, looking at it positively, he'll have every single night to get over the low amount of fear he fells at these types of situations.
Regardless, he walked through the streets, ignoring the primal fear that threatened to force him to sweat.
He entered the large empty gate into an obvious boss room. He immediately looked up to the sides of the arena which held witches with red cloaks and wrinkly skin. There were multiple of them, all ready to buff the One Reborn.
Now, the first time you enter the arena, the One Reborn should give an entrance animation and the fight would commence. Even with the glitch to skip the boss, it should still spawn and kill you once, sending you back to make the jump once more and do the walk all the way back.
However, the world seemed to be in stasis, the One Reborn didn't fall from the sky and Diluc didn't need to throw his body at another boss.
He took a deep breath out of gratification and made his way through a door and he slapped Micolash in order to be sent to go kill the real Micolash.
In the same night, he disposed of Micolash and made it to the Mergo's Wet Nurse. There's nothing else to say about Micolash, the fight was completely underwhelming.
Micolash is able to use 'A Call Beyond' but if he tries to use it, he gets a mouth full of steel from Diluc in order to disrupt the attack.
Augur of Ebrietas was a threat if he stopped paying attention, but he was paying attention.
Regardless, now was Diluc, Izuku, Momo and Himiko's first day at U.A.
This was the tell that Himiko had differed drastically from the anime... if you didn't understand that for some reason.
Anyway, the four of them made their way to their classroom which they all shared.
To Diluc's surprise, he didn't arrive to see Bakugo and Iida fighting like in canon, instead, he saw Bakugo with a dark expression on his face.
He took notice of this and sat down. He, Himiko and Momo sat down adjacent with each other. Izuku, on the other hand, sat as close to his crush as possible.
White noise filled the classroom as the students engaged in small talk.
That was, until a hobo came through the classroom door.
Before the students even had time to stop talking, the hobo and Diluc, who was lying down on a floating pillow, exchanged glances.
Instantly, a bond was formed. Two lazy men had telepathically communicated. They formed an agreement that Diluc would be able to not do any of the homework required and Aizawa would just mark 80% of it as correct.
Truly a gentleman's agreement.
By the time they'd formed the unwritten contract, the class had quieted down.
"It took 8 seconds for you all to shut up. This isn't going to cut it." The hobo spoke.
(A.N. Hope you enjoyed the story, but this will be the end until I either restart this novel and try again or use the 'Elder Soulsbournekiro' power again.)
(A.N.2. I just realized I only had 8 chapters not 10... I'm kinda of stupid)
