Chapitre 33: Chapter 32

"Hey, wake up now. The breakfast is ready outside."

"Can I sleep four more minutes?"

"No, you can't. Hera brings your classroom schedule here and the breakfast is ready."

"Kai, I told you. Give me four minutes and I'll go downstairs."

"I'm not Kai." Nine greeted Trance's sight right after she opened her eyes.

"Oh, it seems like mistook you as for him, Nine."

After they got declared as a unit, Trance and the others received an order from the Headmistress that they should live under the same roof so they're now living in one big apartment.

Trance pulled the chair for her to seat and serve herself breakfast. After she put the glass of orange juice on the side of her plate while Hera seated in from of her while looking at her with a blank expression.

"What time should I get there?" Trance asked out of the blue. Kai and Demeter arched their brows at her.

"8:30 am." Hera immediately stood up and put the dishes on the sink and rushed upstairs, leaving them in the dining area.

"Who eats the last pizza here?" Nine asked while rummaging on the refrigerator. Trance can notice that there's a touch of softness on her low voice and it's serious unlike the playful one before. Even her long blonde hair is in the mess even the comb was left hanging there and she's still wearing her black pajamas.

"If I know I'll answer you." The blonde laughed in sarcasm and stood up. She closed the door and leaned on it.

"Dude, stop being sarcastic on me. That won't help. Where's my 'thank you after you asked me to fix that watch so Trance can use it?" Artemis showed Nine her famous sarcastic eye roll. "That's your job, Nine." Nine grimaced before she opened the refrigerator again and take out a carton of milk.

"That's sincere of you, Captain. How's your snake by the way?"

"Still alive. Far from you since you treat her like a laboratory buddy and sometimes an emergency food."

"I don't eat snakes. It's unsanitary."

"Then I have a work for you."

"You don't have my interest."

"It's a deadly one."

"Now you have it."

"Talk to Principal Diggins, he'll tell you the whole detail."

"Tch, I hate schools yet you want me there. I won't be surprised if Headmistress ordered to kill him," Nine murmurs before she put down the carton of milk on the counter and went upstairs too.

Half an hour has been passed before Trance went down wearing the school uniform that makes her like a princess while carrying her bag. Her hair that she always ties have gotten longer but today she let it down. Nine went downstairs too. She's wearing the same apparel as hers.

"Where are you going, Nine? Trance?" Kai asked the two ladies.

"School." They answered in unison before exchanging looks and giving each other a high five. Trance looked at him with a 'fuck-why-do-I-need-to-go?' expression, "Going back there to finish some stuff."

"Nine and you have the same expression." Demeter sneers.

Nine don't say anything before she tapped the girl's shoulder, indicating that they should go outside now. Trance hopped inside the passenger's seat of Nine's black and new model Maserati. Nine started the engines, didn't break a sweat to wear seatbelts.

The black Maserati that parked at the parking lot called a lot of attention from the students. Random gossip invaded the whole place as Nine went outside then turned around to open the passenger seat's door. She takes Trance's bag and helped her to go outside.

"Now I know the reason why you're in a rush earlier." Trance scratched her head and looked at Nine awkwardly. "Yeah."

"Ellreign appeared after almost a year."

"I thought she's a dropout."

"Are they in a relationship?"

"Bruh, the driver is a woman. How is that possible?"

"Are you stupid? You should get rid of your sexism."

"Maybe they're not."

"Who's that lady beside her?"

"That's Ellreign, right?"

"Trance, I'm taking you to the dean first. Before you go to your class." Nine told Trance before she dragged the raven away from the crowd.

Their eyes never leave the two ladies walking in the hallways. Nine walked down the hallways and did not pay any attention to her surrounding while Trance is walking beside her. The heel of Nine's dwarf boots tapped on the floor, calling the student's attention. The blonde hair of hers swayed slowly as she takes a step. Their eyes never failed to admire Nine and Trance's beauty yet some female students are glaring at them. Who doesn't? If you have seen those unreal people walking in the hallway. Take note, none of them are wearing makeup.

"May we speak to the dean?" Nine asked those teachers after she knocked on the door. It took so long for them to respond because they are starting too much to the blonde and Trance. They pointed to the dean's office before Nine threw a single glance at them then motioned Trance to follow her inside.

"Oh! Ms. Nine! It's nice seeing you here. Lady Victoria send me a message that you're going to be a teacher here. A new student of section 10, right?" His eyes darted at Trance who's standing beside the 5'11 tall blonde lady.

"It's Ellreign, why you're with her? She should be in class now."

"Because she's here. Do I need to explain the whole details?" Nine asked back.

"It's not like that, Ms. Nine. My apologies for asking."

"Look Gregory, I'm not here to spill up some jokes with you."

"I'm sorry, Ms. Nine. So, Ellreign is going back to class now?"

"Obvious."

"Welcome, a new student of Section 10." Nine looked at him emotionlessly and waved her hand before standing up then exited the room. The guards escorted them on their way to the classroom. Nine motioned them to leave as she and Trance entered the hallway.

"You're serious about being part of this?" Trance asked her.

"Captain's orders. I'll be also watching you and see if going here is worth it."

"I'm not used to someone else is watching me but I think it's fine too since we'll be notified when the headmistress sends us a mission." Trance looked at the 5'11 tall woman.

"I was wondering if you're drinking something just to get your voice like that." Nine stared at her then shook her head.

"I don't drink anything just to control my hormones. This is my natural voice, Trance. Still, I know you're just a rookie agent and you do need guidance although you trained hard." They stopped in front of the door while Nine motioned her to step aside. Trance closed her eyes when Nine kicked it, bursting out open. The whole chaotic class went silent as Nine walked inside and Trance followed. Nine motioned that she should stand on her side for a while.

"Who's that chick?" Kyle asked Johann who's speechless after seeing Nine and Trance fiercely. They all looked at both of them in incredulity. Glee filled some of them after witnessing Trance walk to the last row of the chairs.

Felix remained nonchalant while his eyes laid off to Trance who's making her way on the unoccupied seat on their row. Hary shook his head and looked away. The class who's silent earlier got truly dropped into the dead silence. Nine seated silently and casually beside the president. Every time her shoes create a contact on the floor, it creates tapping sounds that call their attention.

"So this is the Class 10, the class of delinquents," Nine murmurs. A crumpled paper bursts its way to her, yet, Nine catches it and opened it. She shook her head when she found a small pebble on it.

'Small children's trick.'

Trance watched them with her stoic face while leaning at the backrest, amused by the old tricks. Hary and the others tried to call her but she ignored them. Another paper was thrown on her desk and it got followed by someone flicking her hair up. Nine loses her patience and brings out the Gloc 22 guns on her waist and pointed it at the ceiling before she pulled the trigger, causing the whole class to fall silent. They looked at the blonde holding a gun with smoke coming from its muzzle.

"Say, who amongst all of you doesn't believe in god? Raise your hands and I'll show him to you."

"Hey, that's dangerous."

"Fuck, this one must be out of her mind."

"Forget that beauty, she's crazy."

Nine triggers the safety lock first before putting her gun down. Trance smirked as her eyes landed at the smoke coming out. She stole a glance at Nine who was giving her a meaningful look. A look waiting for approval. Trance gives her a nod.

"You're useless without that, I bet it. You're---" Before he continue his words, Nine stood up. The silence of hostility made Trance enjoys the heated scene.

Nine kicked him above his foot and turned his back against her all at once. She grabbed him by the back of his collar and enclosed it around his neck tightly. She cracked up low yet eerie laughter under her mask as she meets his astonished expression.

"With or without a gun, you're useless. Look at yourself. Who's laughing now?" Nine whispered in his ears in pure menace. Yen didn't open his mouth to utter a word, he can't even react. His ability compared to her is just a potato. Another threat appears right to their eyes.

"Alright, stop that. Yen is turning blue. They deserve some beatings sometimes." Trance said, halting Nine from completely pushing his adam's apple inside. She releases him and straightens her sleeves.

"My apologies on behalf of them for greeting you like this."

"Trance?!"

"It's been a year. Does one's behavior never change? Do not worry, I missed all of you."

"Who is she?" Shin asked while giving his brother a back pat. Nine went back to her spot, sitting with legs spread in a manly way.

"Niall Vincent."

"Do you have any surname? Because if you don't, you can use mine." Prince grinned, causing Nine to look down at him in a grimace as if he's the most disgusting thing she has laid her eyes on.

"Are you stupid or are you the stupidest man on earth? I already told you my surname. What kind of idiocy is that?"

"Answer us, do you wish to die?"

"Finally! A nice question. It's a yes."

"...."

"Does some sort of a cat got your tongue? I already said yes why you're not moving?"

"Why she's here?" Hary cursed and bury his face in his arms.

"Who?" Khiel asked him.

"Niall. Why she's here?" Hiro looked away while Samuel did the same too after he reminisces about what he just said that day.

"Do you have any problems with me, Hary?" Nine asked him, making the male flinch and their classmates looked at him.

"N-Nothing." 'Please, I want to leave this nightmare.'
