"I want you to help me with something, Pawtricia," Alpheus said. He turned his body and looked around the pet shop. "I need something that makes me look pitiful."

"Pitiful?"

"Yes," Alpheus nodded. "Recently, my Master had forced me to sleep separately. He sleeps in his own room while I sleep in the other room. I don't want that at all. I want to be with him 24/7. So I need a tool to make me look pitiful."

"Ah, so you want your Master to pity you enough to let you enter his room?"

"Yes," Alpheus continued observing the pet shop until his gaze returned to Pawtricia. "Do you know such a thing exists in this place?"

"Hmm… your request is not very clear, My Prince. This is a pet shop intended to help pets feel better by giving them treats, toys, and other necessities," Pawtricia said. "But, I do have something that might help you."
