"The mansion is quite… spacious, but I see no sign of ostentation," Luc muttered. "Isn't this the dream house you always talked about as a kid?"

"Dem always wanted a house like this since childhood?" I asked, surprised. 

"Yeah. He would always say that he doesn't like flashy things much, but still has them in the palace because he needs to show off since he is the King. If he was not a King, he would have a place like this, he used to say."

"Wow…," Ruby muttered. "I think this place matches His Highness's vibe."

"I think it is comfortable," Dem said calmly. 

"What are you talking about? Are you not comfortable in the palace?" Luc asked mockingly. 

"It must be a luxurious place, but I prefer the calmness of the kind of place I like," Dem said and looked at me. "Darling, don't just stand and talk to this fool. Take some rest."

"Uhm…," I mumbled. "But I am not tired."
