Chapitre 97: The Beginning of Hostilities

After reassuring Lyara once again that she needn't worry about the loss of the teleportation artifact, Adall left the room, asking her to stay inside until his return.

His destination this time was obviously the now 15 assassins who were closely watching his every move from outside the inn. Indeed, while Lyara slept and Adall kept watch over her in the room, Aric and Draven's group, along with some new faces, had joined the six assassins already surveilling the young Windsor and the wolf-woman.

Adall descended the stairs connecting his room to the reception hall of the inn as quickly as possible, making sure not to give away his true objective to those currently watching him. The last thing he wanted was for his enemies to scatter throughout Hector City.
