"Status Window"
Expecting to see the two magnificent holograms that provided him with information about himself, all he could see at the moment was the endless darkness that pervaded the place where he had landed.
He had the same feeling as when he entered the mana cube during his magical sensitivity examination, so he could roughly guess that he was no longer in the goblin cave, or at least his consciousness wasn't there anymore.
"Where am I?"
He let out these few words from his mouth, but he really didn't expect a response from anyone.
Indeed, he could hardly see further than the end of his nose where he was, so knowing if he had company was an impossible mission for him, even using his abnormal perception.
...!
No response, obviously!
Unless he considered the radical change in temperature in the atmosphere as one.
One day, I discovered that what I truly loved doing in life was reading novels, discovering new works, imagining new concepts to make a character I loved stronger, and, why not, creating my own character in a work and evolving them in my imagination. I would sometimes spend hours doing this without realizing it, with a smile on my face.
Unfortunately, as time passes, we grow older, and with that comes responsibilities. Especially being African, where society always frowns upon someone who, at a certain age, still maintains a passion they developed since adolescence. I can still hear them saying to me: "It's time for you to grow up, Alban."
So, I recently found myself having to choose between my passion for reading and my ever-burgeoning imagination, and my need to create a monthly income, even if it meant having to abandon my passion.
I ultimately decided to combine the two by creating my own original work: "The War of the Primals". It's still in its early stages, and I promise to do my best not to disappoint you.
So, even if it's a bit selfish of me, I would really appreciate it if you could help me get it known. A comment to let me know if you enjoy it would help me a lot, you have no idea.
As improving is also at the heart of my goals, I would also be delighted to read your constructive criticism.
Thank you very much, dear reader.
