The maids came after I was through with my meal, and they took the plates in.
"Hope you enjoyed your meal, sir?" The maid was all politeness.
"I did, thank you very much," I grin at her.
"It's my duty, sir."
She bowed before she strode back to the kitchen.
"I'm fed. I think it's time to go to town. Mar is already at work, so, I guess it's my time to shine.
I ambled out to the foyer. But this time, indisnt stop to admire anything.
Looking around to make sure there was no one in sight, I made a mad dash to the door. I intended to go to the city.
I don't care if I have to walk there, all I know is I need to go there. My phone is important to me, so I need to get it.
