Esme's eyes scanned the notice that lay before her, advertising the shadowbrook Academy's enrollment of students between the age of twelve to eighteen.

Her thoughts wandered to the peculiar circumstances surrounding the discovery of this document. Had Finnian stumbled upon it by chance, or had someone deliberately left it in plain sight?

Esme's arms crossed, and her gaze narrowed as she posed the question to Finnian."Why do you want to attend this school?"

Finnian responded without hesitation. "Cause I don't want that indoor lesson nonsense anymore, I want to go to a real school, meet new people, and make friends on my own." His voice was laced with a hint of enthusiasm. "Plus, the school offers a comprehensive education by day, and specialized training at night. I can learn about the curse, and other special topics like werewolf law, pack dynamics and etcetera."
