A very good opening. Creates a lot of suspense and it is intriguing enough to make me want to read on. It has some clever creepy and spooky moments. Well done，
Although horror usually isn't my go-to genre, I have to say, your novel completely drew me in! The way you crafted the atmosphere and developed the characters was captivating, and I found myself deeply invested in the story. Good work! I enjoyed the way this story immediately created suspense by beginning right at the start of the overall action, rather than trying to set the scene, establish characters, etc. and then leading to the action proper. This immediately hooks the reader and makes them want to learn more about these people and what will happen to them. I also appreciate the way the story's word choices, employing many serious-sounding words such as "dilapidated", "indescribable", "spacious", and so on, create a somewhat formal tone that shows the deathly seriousness in which the characters find themselves. Many of the words are less commonly utilised in everyday speech, though still conceivably used (such as the words above). This underlines the story's serious tone, showing that the situation is serious indeed. However, the words are never overly formal or "sophisticated", meaning the story is also easy to follow, therefore helping maintain the suspense mentioned above and allowing the reader to become fully gripped by this disturbing narrative.

Dang, I really like this book. A bit of mystery and paranormal. And it's not cheesy or anything, it's something new and it's exciting and keeps you hooked. Definitely adding it to my favourites. Thank you for not killing Liu in the beginning, I love his friendship with Ning, especially Ning calling Liu Big Beard even when Liu already shaved his beard off.🙏🙏

the book immediately takes you into a horror film only by reading it's intro. it's truly amazing.
I'm about halfway through the story. It's fun. It reminds me a little of the manga Gantz. I like the idea of the "monsters" having rules - it kind of adds a puzzle element to the story.
