The child happily bid farewell. He even waved a paw in the air despite his voice carrying a lingerance of suspicion.

What? What was going on? Is there someone inside the tent that Alaric can't see? Someone invisible? No, did he say the voices? In his head?

It was somewhat… frightening. Alaric could feel goosebumps rising on his arms.

"Who… were you talking to again?"

"...Voices in your head?"
