“Absolutely no.”
I heard Rhett sigh beside me.
“No,” Logan continued. “Are you insane? No.”
“No disrespect, Rhett,” Mason chimed in. “But you can’t be serious about this… Are you?”
“I’m afraid so,” Hayden answered for his brother on my other side. “This is the only way we can assure the pack stays safe while the three of us go to the citadel.”
“You were serious about that? I thought it was just an option we were leaving on the table. Not something you were actually considering,” Mason continued his complaint, not agreeing with the plan the twins and I had set forth earlier.
We had called the group of them together into the study, the betas along with Ruan, Cole and Bastian all sat around the large wooden table as we discussed the next move forward. Michael lingered somewhere else in the study, not wanting to sit down just yet, and Viktor stood by the window as he stared out into the gardens.
