Chapitre 8: Chapter 7: Save the Evil Dragon and more Information
Meanwhile…
A woman wearing the cape of a knight has been watching Red and the Dragon above. She was amazed that despite the evil dragon's temper and the thirst to destroy whoever was on his path, Red, the newbie adventurer, was brave enough to confront the monster. She then asked Ace to escort him to the headquarters of Central after Red's heroic act.
It had been almost an hour since Ace left and she was restless.
"Ana, relax. You've been pacing a lot," a woman in a violet dress with long black hair said as she closed the book that she was reading.
"No, I can't relax. The evil dragon will come back and-"
"When that time comes, I'll lend you a hand," the woman replied and stood up.
Ana heaved a sigh. There was no one ever made the dragon go away ever since it started to attack. Only the man with red hair.
She looked at the woman smiling in the portrait.
"What took them so long?" she asked.
When the other woman was about to answer, the door opened and Ace, Diona, Wansai and Red entered.
"Apologies for being late, Master Knight, Ana, and Miss Alice," he said. "Once the confrontation was over, I bought them straight here."
Ana acknowledged Red and nodded.
"Central welcomes you, travelers. I am Ana the Master of Knights and this is Alice, our librarian," Ana said.
"Oh! Are you sweeties here to help us out? You're both so adorable!" she said. "Sadly, the timing is regrettable…" she added heaving a sigh. "The evil dragon has caused quite a ruckus in the region since its recent resurgence. Simply put, Gain's element sphere and ley lines are now akin to a yarn ball in the paws of a kitten. For a mage, it couldn't get much worse. My skin is one elemental particle away from full-blown breakout."
"Alice is correct. If it weren't for this interference, the Knight would have been a better way to help you than just putting up missing person posters. We simply ask that you repose in Central while we help you seek out your sister."
Red, hearing this become suspicious.
"Where did you hear about my sister," he said, suspiciously.
"Relax. The knights have their way when it comes to gathering information, Traveler. We don't mean any harm, just a little bit of help from you."
Red relaxed. Ever since his conversation with the dragon and the thing attached on his wounded back, he has become cautious.
"Okay. I should help out as well," Red said.
"If my partner's in, then I'll help too!" Wansai added.
"Good. In that case, we need a plan," Ace said.
"With the Evil Dragon now directly attacking Central,, we may have an opportunity to cut this problem off at source. Alice has revealed the source of the Dragon's power with her detection magic."
"They're located in the abandoned Four Temples. The dragon's ability to whip up these kinds of storms and tornadoes can be attributed to it drawing manas from the temples," Alice explained which made Red look at her.
Red remembered that the Mana devourer slowly eating his mana and if those temples were the reason why Breeze still had some mana despite being eaten away from him, it would be an important place for him to survive until he got rid of that thing on him.
"Our objective is to deal with the three of the four temples. I trust everyone understands why we are only dealing with three," Ana said.
"What kind of deal are you trying to say?" Red asked.
"Destroy it," Ana replied.
"No," Red said.
Everyone was shocked by his answer.
"And why? Did you not understand what this mission is about? We need to kill the dragon," Ace explained.
"No." Red was adamant in his answer. "You can't kill the dragon. I promised him that I'll help otherwise he'd destroy everything, human and building alike. He was not evil. He was a sovereign dragon. He told me he fought with the false God a long time ago. He got defeated, and got a Mana devourer behind him that was eating his mana. If you destroy those temples, he'll die."
Everyone became silent.
"H-how did you know about this, Red?" Diona said even though she was confused.
"He talked to me," Red replied.
"He talked to you!?"
"Yes."
"What do we need to do?" Ana asked.
"Give me time and I'll construct a plan. For now, can I borrow your library?" Red said.
Ana and Alice looked at each other.
"This way, cutie," Alice said, leading Red and Wasai to the largest library.

- Since Duas, a special currency is the primary currency of the Celestial and is scattered all over the realms and dimensions. It's a rare money and for a traveler, it is not since Vur is abundant. All you have to do is to find a chest and do some quest! So when the celestials learned about this, they decided to create a shop filled with powerful and rare five to four-star weapons. Ah! Everybody needs money to survive, celestials and humans alike.
-The shop will display the weapon depending on the Element you have. It is two weapons per week.
(Note: the purchase is determined by Fate)
-1600 Duas is equivalent to 10 Stars. Every 1 purchase (equivalent of 10 stars) of any of weapon of the two weapons displayed, you may have the following:
(1) 4 star weapon and (9) 3 star weapon(2) 4 star weapons and (8) 3 star weapons.(1) 5 star weapon, (1 or 2) 4 weapons and (7) 3 star weapons.
(Note: this may vary depending on the Celestial. They are pretty bullies. So if you want that certain weapon, you need to Save duas to do a multiple purchase!)
Menu- this is the shorter menu that is only dedicated to the Adventurer rank and Exp. You can say 'Adventurer rank' if you want to open it without opening your Status menu.
Artifact Classification:
-For beginners, common artifacts usually can be found in any common chest (1 star), (2 star) artifacts can be found in exquisite chest, (3 star) for precious chest and (4 star) in Diamond chest. (5 star) artifacts can only be farmed in the Tower of Artifacts (locked).
-one and two star artifacts don't have affixes just the main stats
-three star artifacts has main stats and 1 to 2 affixes
-four star artifacts has main stats plus 2 to 3 affixes
-five star artifacts have main states plus 4 to 5 affixes.
Keep in your mind that whatever affixes of artifacts will add up on your own attribute.
Keypoint:
-equip 2 or 4 artifacts to activate their set bonus You can enhance (lock) the artifacts to see their maxed stats.
Weapon Refinement:
-the same weapon can be refined to increase the weapon stats. Keep in mind that ONLY the same weapon can be refined. (Head to the tutorial: how to refine weapon)
Weapon Enhancement:
-leveling your weapon up to 10 times, feeding low star and level to your much higher weapon. After that, you need to ascend it for further enhancement. To ascend a weapon, you must prepare the required ascension materials.

The icon Weapon Enhancement Tutorial icon led me to a new screen. There was a cursor-like hand appeared.

Head to the Main statusChoose weaponAt the lower part of the Weapon Stats at the right side, choose Enhance Choose a weapon to enhanceChoose enhancement materials that are needed. (Must be a lower star) and Enhancement Ore (1 star). Enhance.
Keypoint: Weapons can be Enhanced 10 times. After that, You will ascend your weapon for further enhancement.
Note: Enhance weapon to Level 20 and reach Adventurer 15 to ascend to the next phase.

I tried to enhance my current weapon according to the Tutorial's instructions but it failed saying I don't have enough materials.
I heaved a sigh.
Man, this world was like a game. It's not easy to level up. I played a lot of games before but not like this one. To be able to level up, I need blood and sweat to do it. When I was still a dweller, everything was easy since I got the power I needed. Combat was nothing to me but then…another sigh escaped from my mouth.
"You've been sighing non-stop, Red," Wansai whispered as he elbowed me while following Alice. "What happened?"
"I got a tutorial about weapon enhancement. I was about to try it but my materials were insufficient right now."
"Ah, why don't we gather some later?"
"Thanks but let's focus first on the library."
"Okay."
Alice came to stop before the large wooden door. It has a sign saying, " Keep silent. Return the book after you read before or during the day indicated to return."
"Behind this door is the largest library in the Central," Alice said and opened up the door.
We came in and looked around.
"So is there any particular book you wanted to read?" she asked.
"Uhmmmm…"
"Alright, I'll leave you two here. You can have the library yourselves for a day," Alice said. "I leave you two so you can concentrate."
After that, Alice left.
I activated my Identify to see what book I should read and to get some information about Central and the False Goddess.
There were countless books inside and it would be hard for me to find these specific books.
But with my identify, I found out what books should I get. There were flashing star-like to every book on the shelves so I all I needed to do was collect them.
A few minutes later…
"Woah! That's a lot of books, Red," Wansai said. "Do we really need to read all of that?"
"Yes," I replied. "But first we need to tell Alice that we need to check out all of these books."
"All of these?"
"Yes.'
