The sun was setting, voices were shouting, rain felled from the sky above. But she still kept running. No matter how loud the voices were, no matter how dark her sight becomes, no matter how many cuts scraped against her feet.
She kept running...
"MERREDIN!" yelled the voice of a young man wearing golden armor.
He cried out the girl's name again, still no reply. The young ran across the forest, rushing pass the trees. Searching everywhere, but he couldn't gain sight of the girl he was finding.
"MERREDIN!" he called once more, but he only heard the words of his own echoes.
He ran and he ran, until he was halted himself as he saw scattered pieces of a once beautiful yellow dress upon blood stain grounds. The young man felled down onto his knees, tears poured upon his shocked face.
"Merredin.... I'm sorry," the young man whispered to himself, holding the tore pieces tightly to his chest as he cried in silence.
