Now Cad was scared because she just said something she shouldn't have. That something has to do with being in this world.

'What did she say just now? She is a dangerous tool?'

Cad tried to smile. But traces of worry were still on her face.

"When will you be back in the apartment?" Cad asked.

"I can come back anytime because I feel good already," Rainn replied. "Maybe this afternoon."

Cad nodded. "Okay."

Cad was silent for a while. But she made a gesture as if she wanted to say something.

"What is it?" Rainn asked in a gentle tone.

"Sorry. But I don't have anywhere else to stay," Cad said, looking at Rainn with an uncomfortable look on her face.
