Chapitre 17: Transformers
"W-who are you?" When his attack was blocked, the wolf's eyes slowly change and his mind was controlled by Teach once again.
This was Teach. It's just that to get greater strength, he would let his instinct do whatever they want.
But when his attack was blocked, Teach found something incredible.
It's not that being able to block his attack was incredible.
But rather blocking his attack in a casual manner with a single finger was incredible.
"My name is Shin. This is my partner Hina. It seems like you are a bandit who came to loot this village. Since that's the case...."

Shin didn't say much. He simply continued to thrust his finger forward.
Right now, he had poured a lot of Qi into his finger and pushed Iron Body to its limit.

His finger moved forward and when he managed to push Teach's claw away, his finger went straight into his stomach and pierced his skin.

Teach screamed and the sanity that he had just recovered vanished. His instinct kicked in and he retreated several meters.

Shin tapped the ground with his feet and his body instantly appeared next to Teach.

His foot, as hot as boiling water, struck Teach on his head.

An extreme heat made Teach mad in pain as he screamed.

The impact of his kick sent Teach flying toward the house as he crashed into it, broke the wall twice, and finally fell on the ground.
The dust rose and covered him. His leg was imprinted on his face as he struggled to stand up.
But, surprisingly, the wound on his face was healing extremely fast and his eyes were turning dark crimson with each passing second.
Roar!
Teach had lost all of his consciousness when he roared at Shin.
"It's amazing. What kind of technique is this? How can he transform into an animal without using Qi? Is it an ability or talent?" Shin was amazed by his recovery ability.
He couldn't help but feel a bit cautious against Teach.
But, at the same time, he was confident in his own strength. Seeing Teach rushing towards him, Shin stretched out his index finger and flooded his Qi into it.

He thrusts his finger toward the wolf who pounced at him. Its claw and his finger collided, creating a spark of flame.
The collision between the two surprised Barry. He was barely standing up. After using his Qi for the first time in the battle, he was left in a weakened state.
Contrary to him, Hina was recovering quite fast. She quickly stood up and ran toward Barry.
Seeing his weakened appearance, she pulled him and ran away. Just after two battles, she now had a lot of confidence in Shin's strength.
She believed that the final victor would be Shin.
"Should we seriously run away like this? You know that Teach used some sort of genetic enhancement to increase his strength." Barry couldn't help but speak while running away.
"Don't worry, Shin won't lose." Hina spoke with incredible confidence. But, she quickly turned around and asked.
"By the way, what do you mean by genetic enhancement?"
"It is a kind of drug developed by the Bounty Association. Whenever a person takes this kind of drug, his strength would increase based on the transformation."
"But, this kind of drug is extremely rare, even if it is a common transformation. So, it costs a lot of money."
"When I was living in my village, I heard about it twice. But, there is something wrong with Teach. That's why I am afraid of some accident." Barry explained with a solemn expression.
"What do you mean?" Hina paused for a moment and asked. Although she had a lot of confidence in Shin, if there would be an accident, she would do anything to prevent it.
"According to what I know, these kinds of drugs will lose their effect after a few minutes of usage. And, there wouldn't be any kind of outburst in strength like Teach."
"So, I am quite confused about this situation. Why is Teach not coming out of transformation but rather getting stronger? Not to mention, his transformation is the most common one according to the ranking."
Barry answered.
"Ranking?" After hearing the explanation, although Hina was a bit worried, she didn't lose her confidence in Shin. Instead, she got more curious about the transformation.
"Yes, there is a ranking for this kind of transformation. The people who use those genetic drugs are known as 'Transformers'. Their power is defined by the transformation they use."
"The ranking starts from common, rare, ancient, mythical, and divine."
"As I said before, there were two pieces of news about the Transformers that I know. The first one was about a lady who had used the genetic drugs of a mythical creature 'Medusa'."
"She created an incident which is known as 'Stone Incident' where she turned an entire great family into stone."
"The other incident was a bit suspicious because it is not confirmed whether it is truly Transformer or not. In the Sacred Ground of the Prehistoric Era, it was said that a person transformed into a dragon and went deeper into that Sacred Ground."
"I am also from this same region. So, I got the news but I am surprised that you haven't heard about this news. Shouldn't you get the newspaper?" Barry asked with a confused expression.
Hina shook her head and said.
"There is only one kind of newspaper that our village gets. In that newspaper, there was no mention of 'Transformers'."
Hearing her words, Barry suspiciously stared at her and asked.
"Don't tell me you only receive World Association Newspaper?"
"Isn't it the same for everyone?" Hina stared at him with shock and asked.
Barry rolled his eyes and shook his head.
"Of course, that newspaper is not exactly false but it only describes what the government wants you to know."
"It is used in order to make the world feel peaceful despite the existence of bandits."
When he said that, there was a bit of regret in his eyes. He truly wanted to leave his village because he was too much in love with swordsmanship.
He wanted to see the peak of this world with the sword in his hand.
It's just that he joined Teach because of his flowering words and now, he regretted it a bit. Fortunately, this was the first time he was looting a village.
So, he didn't have a lot of mental pressure.
"Is that so?" Hina didn't know how to feel about World Association Newspaper. But, she didn't think too much and sat down.
"Since this battle could be dangerous, let's sit down and recover our strength. By the way, why is your Qi so low in amount?" Hina raised her head and asked.
"What do you mean low? I just started. It is already amazing that I can use Qi in my sword attacks. But, how long have you been training? Your Qi amount is astonishing. You must be training for five or six years, right?"
Barry sat down and excitedly asked.
Hina looked at him with a puzzled expression and said.
"Although Shin told me that I have a great talent for Qi, I could barely extract physical energy and spiritual energy for ten minutes in the beginning. After fifteen days of constant training, I managed to pull it to twenty minutes."
"You were able to create your own Qi Art. You should be able to extract physical energy and spiritual energy for more than that, right?"
"So, why is your Qi amount so low?"
When she finished saying that, she saw Barry's jaws hitting the ground.
"Are you talking human words? What the hell did you mean barely ten minutes?"
"I just created my Qi arts a few weeks ago and I can barely extract physical energy and spiritual energy for less than a minute. Are you guys monsters?"
Barry complained with a loud voice as he looked at her as if he was looking at a monster.
Seeing his expression, Hina clenched her fist. She felt like hitting him on the head for calling her a monster.
But, she calmed down and asked.
"So, you mean you can only extract physical energy and spiritual energy for just a minute?"
Barry nodded his head with a scared expression.
This made Hina puzzled.
'Although I have a great talent and Shin also seems to have a powerful talent, it is still bit nonsense to be this vast, right?'
'Is it because his Qi Art is not perfect? Yeah, that must be it. There is no way there would be such a huge difference in talent.'
Hina shook her head and then turned her head at the battle between Shin and Teach.
Because this battle was finally getting heated.
