They could tell that each suddenly appearing individual was a formidable fighter, with several matching their strength.
In particular, Kaguya Ōtsutsuki and the man beside her, Asahi, exuded an aura of unfathomable power.
This realization shattered the worldviews of Momoshiki, Kinshiki, and Urashiki. How could this be? How could there be so many strong people in this world?
Why was Kaguya, supposedly just a Maid, so powerful? More importantly, how had she allied herself with these powerful beings?
At that moment, Momoshiki and his companions were internally screaming. They couldn't comprehend it. And they would never get the chance to.
Asahi had already spoken, instructing that they be handed over to Kaguya for her to deal with.
"Kaguya-hime, I've fulfilled my promise. They are now yours to handle," Asahi declared.
Kaguya, though uninterested, nodded and said, "Thank you." She then slowly reached out toward the trio.
Hearing Asahi's words, Momoshiki, Kinshiki, and Urashiki panicked. They knew that falling into Kaguya's hands meant certain doom.
Indeed, as Kaguya extended her hand, an intense feeling of impending death overwhelmed them.
In sheer terror, they desperately shouted, "Don't kill us! We are more useful than that wretched woman Kaguya! Whatever help she can offer, we can too. Please, don't—"
In their final moments, they were frantic about preserving their lives.
The longer they lived and the higher their status, the more they feared death, especially at the hands of Kaguya, whom they considered beneath them.
But Asahi paid no heed to their pleas. He did not need their help, and their malicious intentions made them unworthy of mercy.
Thus, a grey bone pierced their hearts before they could finish their plea—Kaguya's signature technique, All-Killing Ash Bones.
Struck by Kaguya's bone, the trio couldn't utter another word, their voices silenced forever.
Their bodies rapidly decayed, and within moments, they disintegrated into ashes.
Indeed, in a matter of seconds, they were reduced to mere ashes, their existence erased from the world without leaving a trace.
Thus, the three significant antagonists who had once threatened the peace of the Shinobi World for decades were obliterated before realising their plans.
With their demise, Kaguya, uninterested, vanished from sight.
Isana also released her hold on the trio's remains, allowing the ashes to scatter into the sea and disappear entirely.
Only after this, Nagato approached Asahi and softly asked, "Master, who were those three?"
In a calm tone, Asahi replied, "They were insignificant villains. Now, everyone, let's disperse and go about our duties."
Villains? Hearing Asahi's response, Nagato felt a wave of confusion sweep his mind.
However, he didn't question further. Since Asahi had dismissed them as insignificant, there was no point in dwelling on it.
So, Nagato instructed everyone to disperse. Just as he was about to leave, Asahi called out to him again:
"Nagato, wait a moment."
"Yes, Master? What's the matter?" Nagato paused and asked.
"The time is almost up, and everything has been resolved. In seven days, I plan to leave this world."
"Notify the Ogami Clan members so they can come and experience it. It will serve as a goal for them to strive toward."
Nagato was momentarily taken aback.
Leaving already? Although he had been prepared for this, his heart still had a sense of reluctance.
Nonetheless, he understood that this was inevitable, merely a matter of time. So, he nodded gently in agreement.
Seeing this, Asahi said nothing more and returned to his palace.
Upon returning, Asahi was slightly surprised. Kaguya Ōtsutsuki was kneeling inside the palace.
He didn't need to guess to know she was waiting for him.
So, he asked directly, "Kaguya-hime, everything has been taken care of. Is there something else you need?"
Kaguya sensed Asahi's return and responded without hesitation, standing up and shaking her head gently as she spoke softly,
"I have nowhere else to go, so I wish to join the Ogami Clan and follow you."
With that simple sentence, Asahi could hear her voice's deep sense of helplessness and loneliness.
Sealed away for a thousand years, Kaguya was out of sync with the world.
Everything and everyone she had once known was gone. It seemed there was no place left for her in this world.
Though she desired to follow him, Asahi didn't believe it was because his charisma had completely won her over in their brief time together.
It was simply because, aside from the ascended Hamura Ōtsutsuki, Asahi was the only familiar person left for her.
And Hamura's existence or non-existence made no difference.
Hearing Kaguya's words, Asahi fell silent for a moment.
He felt sympathy for her, and having her join the Ogami Clan was a good idea, given her significant power.
However, having her follow him posed a challenge, primarily because Asahi planned to leave the Naruto dimension, and he wasn't sure if Kaguya wanted to leave as well.
With a resigned sigh, Asahi said, "Having you join the Ogami Clan is not a problem."
"It's just that I'm planning to leave this dimension. If you want to follow me..."
"That's fine," Kaguya interrupted before Asahi could finish, speaking firmly.
"My strength has reached its limit in this world; I can't find any more ways to improve here. It's better to explore other worlds."
"Besides, there's nothing left here for me except for Hamura and Hagoromo, but they..." Kaguya Ōtsutsuki's voice trailed off, but Asahi understood her meaning.
After a moment of silence, just as Asahi was about to speak, Kaguya continued,
"You're planning to establish the Ogami Clan in the next world as well, right? I can help you with that."
Hearing Kaguya's willingness, Asahi, who had no intention of refusing, welcomed her offer.
With a light chuckle, he replied, "That sounds good. Welcome to the Ogami Clan. However, I will be leaving in seven days, so prepare yourself."
Although recruiting someone directly wasn't exactly according to the rules, special circumstances called for special measures.
After all, Asahi himself set the rules so he could bend them if needed. Kaguya smiled and nodded, then left Asahi's palace.
Watching her leave, Asahi chuckled and shook his head. It seemed things would get easier from now on.
.....
Seven days passed quickly, which, for Asahi, was merely a single session of meditation. The day of his departure from this world had arrived.
The Ogami Clan's island was now bustling with all its members.
Though there were only about two hundred of them, they represented the pinnacle of the ninja world's strength.
Standing in the central plaza under Nagato's leadership, every member bore a solemn expression.
Asahi's disciples, in particular, looked especially reluctant to see him go.
Asahi, seated cross-legged in his palace, opened his eyes. A sharp gleam flashed momentarily from the room.
He stood up and nodded slightly at Kaguya, who was standing nearby.
In an instant, they both vanished from the palace and reappeared in front of the gathered clan members.
Seeing the familiar faces before him, Asahi's face softened into a smile of satisfaction. "Greetings, Master!" The entire Ogami Clan greeted Asahi in unison.
He waved his hand lightly and began to speak, "Today might be the last time you see me. I won't say much, just a few parting words."
"The world is vast, and you will eventually come into contact with the outside world. But remember, the Ogami Clan is strong, and so are you."
"Don't fear the outside world; always maintain a strong heart and will."
"However, the stronger you become, the more effort you must put in, for your goals should not be confined to a single realm."
"One day, you will encounter even more advanced worlds. Your path will not be confined to just one world."
"The reputation of the Ogami Clan in the future will depend on you to uphold it."
As Asahi's words settled, all the members of the Ogami Clan nodded resolutely, etching his words into their hearts.
As Asahi's gaze swept across the familiar faces, he felt a multitude of words surge within him.
"Nagato, thClanan will be in your hands from now on. Ensure you shoulder your responsibilities well."
"Yahiko, you too. You're all grown men now, so don't be so careless."
"Konan, help Nagato with the details."
"Kushina, you're a mother now, so temper your anger."
"Yugito, don't keep everything bottled up inside."
"And..."
One by one, Asahi gave his instructions, resembling a parent who couldn't stop worrying about his children.
Though he hadn't interacted much with some members, he remembered each Ogami Clan member's name, appearance, personality, and even their flaws.
Konan, who loved origami; Itachi, who doted on his younger brother; Shisui, who wandered the world; Deidara, who loved explosive art;
Kimimaro enjoyed gardening; Suigetsu vowed to create a sword surpassing the Seven Ninja Swords of the Mist, and Neji's goal was to break free from his caged bird seal.
Every member, whether Asahi's direct disciple or those he hadn't interacted with much, was vividly etched in his mind.
Seeing Asahi's continuous chatter, everyone felt a heavy stone pressing on their hearts, making them feel both heavy and oppressed.
Some even had tears welling up in their eyes.
Even those who had become parents, like Kushina, or those bearing the heavy responsibility of the Ogami Clan, like Nagato, couldn't help but feel emotional.
They had seen life and death countless times as ninjas, yet they couldn't hold back their tears now.
Asahi had rescued many of them from tragic childhoods, becoming a figure akin to a father.
This impending separation felt eternal, making it hard for them to control their emotions.
Asahi noticed their reactions. Although he wasn't one to be overly emotional, he found himself unable to control his feelings today.
Despite having made up his mind long ago, he realized he couldn't face this moment calmly.
Asahi was like a father to Nagato and the others, and they were like his children.
For a brief moment, he even thought staying might not be so bad. But he knew it was impossible; he had his responsibilities.
Realizing he couldn't say more without breaking down, Asahi quickly stopped himself.
"All right, I've said enough. Train hard and I hope to hear about you in other worlds." After a brief silence, Asahi spoke softly again.
"Master..." Konan opened her mouth, wanting to say some parting words, but nothing came out. The tears she had been holding back finally spilled over.
She clenched the candy wrapper in her hand—the one she had secretly kept when she first met Asahi.
That candy was the sweetest, most delicious thing she had ever tasted.
Even after experiencing the world's finest delicacies, she never found anything better than that small piece of candy.
But now, the person who gave her that candy was leaving this world, and she didn't know if they would ever meet again.
Konan wasn't the only one. Every disciple of Asahi felt the same sense of loss. Some could control their emotions, while others couldn't.
Asahi felt his eyes sting and looked up at the sky to hold back his tears. In the next moment, he forced a lighthearted tone.
"All right, parting is just the prelude to a better reunion. The next time I see you if your skills haven't improved, I will punish you. Kaguya, we're leaving."
With that, Asahi waved his sleeve, and a black portal, tall enough for a person to walk through, appeared in the square.
Without hesitation, Asahi stepped into it, followed by Kaguya, who had been silently trailing him.
To ensure they arrived in the same world, their energies remained connected. As their figures disappeared into the portal, the members of the Ogami Clan collectively knelt.
"Farewell, Master (Clan Leader)!!"
"Thank you for everything!!"
The voices of over two hundred people echoed across the island.
Even the Snow Bear Clan on the distant northern glacier turned towards the Ogami Clan and nodded.
Thanks to Asahi, they escaped the oppression of other summon beast clans and found their place in the summoning world.
Becoming the Ogami Clan's summon partners was a great honour, as every member was a top-tier ninja.
This alliance strengthened theiClanan and increased their influence in the summon world. The entire Snow Bear Clan felt grateful to Asahi.
As the news of Asahi's departure spread, people from all over the ninja world paid their respects.
The Ogami Clan had become a symbol of peace in Ninja World.
