With Little Junko enjoying the experience of short-lived flight by method of being thrown in the air while the surrounding adventurers, mages and knights celebrated the birth of a Superior Class User, the party of six including the prince attempted to wrap their heads around the situation.
The five who originally found Junko, Marcello, Elaryn, Samaton, Bobby and Johnathan, were simply ecstatic. Happy beyond relief, though only after they accepted the fact that the little girl being thrown around like an idol was now probably stronger than them.
The Prince, who had his fairy companion with him as an advisor thought much differently about the situation as he attempted to calm the surrounding adventurers.
'As you said, she is of Apex descent, correct?'
He asked his fairy companion directly through his thoughts.
Receiving a confirmative answer, he fell into thought for a moment before receiving a warning from the fairy.
'Apex or not, she seems human to an extent. She is a child. Children can be tamed and when they grow they can be negotiated with. No?'
He asked if his assumptions were incorrect yet received no answer from his fairy companion.
Pondering for a moment, he spoke directly to the fairy again after excusing himself from the group of adventurers who had finally dropped the issue.
'She is of a Superior Class, something that even the Fairies see very rarely. With how she seems now, at her level of intelligence, she seems easy to manipulate. If something does go wrong and she becomes this 'Exterminator' you spoke of we may always send her back to the Great Dragon Continent or send a Tag.
Yes, I understand your fear... No. No, I did not... Is this true..?
What else?... No. Domestication or even just leaving a very good impression is best if that is the case.'
He spoke to his fairy companion through his thoughts while hearing out her answers to any of his questions and moving towards little Junko.
'...At least allow me to try... No. If something like that happens don't retaliate... No, of course, I don't want you to die. Don't retaliate just escape... Why shouldn't you be?'
After that last sentence, the prince finally reached Junko who was now just sitting behind a table, listening to the questions that she didn't understand anything about, while opposite of her was a man crying his eyes dry.
...
Simply standing there with a neutral smile and slowly blinking eyes, she listened to the questions about whether she chose a magic type or physical type class.
With no idea what anyone was saying and the people soon remembering this, one extra large adventurer walked up to Junko before crouching down and flexing his arm.
"Hey, lass. Want to arm wrestle?"
He asked with a smile while poking his own arm as the sound from the surroundings became louder. Many admonished the man while some understood the line of thinking.
"What? We can tell if she chose a physical class or not like this. It's not like I'm actually going to try and hurt the lass now, I'm an adventurer, I'm not stupid."
He spoke as he then pointed at Junko's arm too.
Looking at the large arm of the adventurer and at her own smaller arm a moment later, Junko just imitated the gesture of 'flexing' her arm with a smile as though she just won a game.
Picking her up and moving to a table that was immediately cleared of everything, the crowd around the challenger, Adventurer Nr.3, and little girl, Junko.
The crowd kept growing as the adventurer placed his arm on the table, propping it up on his elbow.
"Don't hurt the kid!"
"She just got the Class, don't hurt her or the surroundings will hurt you!"
"I Hope You Get Beaten Down! Get Him!"
"Hold Back as Much as you Can!"
"I'll break your arm if you even scratch the lass!"
The crowd was invested. Even Elaryn and Marcello who were close by yelled out to the adventurer but didn't stop the small game as they too wanted to find out what type of Class Junko had chosen.
Junko, who had no idea why she was forcefully moved to a small wooden platform or why the unknown individual she had just interacted with had placed his arm on the platform just decided to imitate him again and did the same as the adventurer sitting opposite to her.
Having her hand grabbed, she marvelled at the size difference. A single one of the adventurer's fingers was bigger than her entire hand.
After a small while, Junko looked up at the man who pointed at their hands.
Feeling a slight force move her hand slowly until her arm was turned to the right until it touched the wooden platform and then seeing the exact opposite happen, Junko was slightly confused about what was happening.
She looked at the adventurer quizzically.
Seeing him scratching his chin, she could see him pointing a single finger up as he said something she didn't understand.
Letting go of her hand, he pointed at someone in the crowd.
Another adventurer joined them. They were smaller than the man who faced Junko but still buff.
Looking towards Junko, the large adventurer said "Look." and had a quick arm wrestling match with the onlooker.
Winning easily, he slammed the opponent's hand into the wooden table with a loud *Bang* which shook the chair Junko was sitting on, garnering her attention as the activity seemed understandable to her now.
The adventurer then turned back to Junko and placed his arm back on the table.
With a light smile, she grabbed the hand of the adventurer yet didn't place her elbow on the table as she had forgotten.
Without delay, Junko gripped her hand tightly and threw her opponent to the right.
*Slam* *THUD*
She could feel something crack but her hand didn't have any blood on it so she thought that she lost the 'hunting practice'.
The adventurer had been thrown into the crowd without even a second to react. His arm was twisted and broken almost entirely.
The silence was deafening.
Then, laughter and cheering erupted like thunder as people were helped back up to their feet and fixed.
Junko who looked on as the adventurer she threw stood, was confused at the gesture of pointing his thumb up at the blocked sky but didn't question it.
Another adventurer sat down and challenged little Junko. This time, as Junko placed her elbow on the table and fought properly, the table ended up cracked and a crying adventurer with a broken arm fell to the floor as some mages moved to help him up.
The cheers of adventurers made Junko feel appreciated. Happy, even.
"Hello. What's your name?"
She heard from the side before tilting her head and looking at the man.
She would have thought something about the man but her thoughts were nearly instantly preoccupied as she saw the little one floating near the man.
She blinked twice as she looked directly at them before reaching out her hand.
The prince, taking the gesture incorrectly also reached out his hand so they could shake their hands and greet each other properly.
Yet before his hand could reach hers, he felt a small pull. It was strange and he could barely even feel it due to it's lack of strength.
No, rather than a lack of strength, he wasn't the one being pulled.
Blinking in surprise as a sudden gust of wind blew around, he looked down at the small girl who was a descendant of the Apex.
The girl was holding a small white-haired woman in her hands like a child holding a Barbie doll, just that the doll was smaller than normal.
The prince didn't even notice but somehow his fairy companion had seemingly teleported into the hands of the little girl.
Besides that, he could see and speak to his fairy clearly and by her response and facial expression, she was scared and couldn't escape. She couldn't even move.
Sweat trickled down the neck of the small fairy as she met eyes with Junko who studied her with wide eyes.
The prince was still silent from slight shock but immediately recovered as he spoke to Junko with a soft voice like trying to get a puppy to drop something from their mouth.
The surroundings were more quiet than before.
All eyes were on Junko.
The prince reached out his open hand and spoke.
"Hey, can you please give my friend back, she has a weak body and could get hurt if you hold her too hard."
He spoke softly and carefully.
Junko, whose eyes had been piercing through the little fairy's entire existence just a moment ago turned to the prince as they made eye contact for a second.
Looking down at the open palm and then back at the fairy in her hands, Junko frowned.
'Weird. Can not... Mmmngh~'
She couldn't find the right words.
She couldn't reach out and touch what she saw in the fairy and she didn't want to break it since she felt like what she saw would break too.
"Hey~?"
The prince spoke again with a slightly louder voice.
Junko didn't surrender as she tightly hugged the fairy in her arms.
The fear gripping the fairy's heart almost killed her.
'Why don't you just get out!?'
The prince asked only to receive an answer he didn't quite believe.
'What do you mean you can't use any mana!?!'
Before he could speak further with either Junko or his fairy companion Junko stood up and booked it.
"W-wha-wait. No. Oh Shit!"
The prince stuttered out as he gave chase.
