* Normal POV
That night raid had really been draining the allied force's stamina both physically and mentally.
Once Cowan as their leader felt that situation had been under controlled, all of his forces were relieved. Some of them decreased their vigilance. Some of them resume the postponed sleep.
But none had a slightest bit felt something a miss with the current situation.
"It' was over. Everything is safe now. Let's resume our rest." Some of them said inwardly toward themselves.
"The bed has waiting, let's have more sleep."
Everyone has a similar thought. But no one questioned himself about why everyone fell to sleep suddenly. The feeling of unbearable tired grew inside each other's minds. And the conclusion about the need for deserved some rest filled all their mind.
Even the nature had also teased their mind to surrender unconditionally. The cold breeze had blown softly, leading the eyelids to close their eye. The thick mist suddenly appeared, carrying the cold wind that sometimes deluding the tired soldiers to fall into micro sleeps.
Their exhausted mental has no more room to argue about lasting their vigilant. Some of them even voluntarily fell into a deep sleep.
" Snore...."
Sometimes loud snore could be heard one after another, filling the surrounding air.
" Snore...."
The cold mist had also grown thicker than before, preventing anyone awake too long, due to the poor visibility inside the mist.
For a moment later, the camp has returned into its previous peaceful moment.

----~~~----
.
.
Deep into the thickness mist, in the rearward of allied forces encampment, where all the mage knight were camped, a white shadow of a woman jumping in here and there utilizing her wind elemental magic.
It was the shadow of the strongest mage in Vajya, Duchess Nindya.
" I had never thought my mission would be so boring. This is too easy." Nindya said inwardly to herself.
"I was expecting a brutal fight against them, for my stress reliever. But what do I get now? A group of sleepy mages who even can not defend themselves." She grumbled to herself.
" Now I felt like a lower class civil officer who in charge to distribute mass curse of the anti betrayal seal."
She spread her arms, then several sleeping enemies were sealed magically. She just had applied the curse into them. It was a magical technique to prevent them from betraying the curse owner.
" This is all Jack's fault. I should not listen to him before." She grumbled again.
" But I must admit his idea was brilliant. He played with people's minds, for scheming to utilize Myerlion's sleeping spell into that kind of level. Something that can only be orchestrated by veteran of war. I wonder what kind of hardship he's been through ? I guess he had some soft side within his soul, to avoid killing too many people." She's still grumbled again while putting his curse into the last batch.
Because of the abundant magic power in her body, such a task was too easy. It did not take a sweat to finished, as well as adrenaline rush. It only took a few moments for her to seal all the mage knight within that encampment.
Now she could have been considered have a hundred slaves comprise from mage knight troop.
Once she finished her mission with all the mage knights, she moved to another one, the archers troop and the musketeer's troop.
Then, those archers meet the same fate with their colleagues, the mage knight, having a magical cursed engraved into their soul and body. Enslaved by Nindya without prior notice.
They could disobey no order came from Nindya. Once their mind resolved to refuse or disagree with hers, the curse would be self-active and generated an unbearable pain. Any resistance will trigger the curse to execute the termination command.
When Nindya move to take care the musketeers troop, her HT radio buzzed. It was Jack's report followed by Meyrlion and Sahya, they told her that all her subordinates had completed their mission, to rob their firearms include the ammunition and deliver them into the Titan base.
It was beta zulu, mission accomplished, and according to the plan, everyone should immediately be ready at the base, have a rest and be ready for a decisive battle when the dawn come.
Nindya smiled. "Everything work as his plan. As I thought, due the limited time we had, I could not find their leader or the rebel Princes. What a shame.."
She shook her head then she disappeared into the darkness, along with her subordinates who in black suite and the fogs that reside the encampment. Thus, the sleeping spell that came along the mist were slowly lost its effect.
Then, that encampment returned into its natural silentness, pitch black, but decorated by the snore sounds here and there, along with the night insects.
