Chapitre 6: Ch-6 First day ended
'Coming here is really the right thing to do.' Light thought.
'I did not think I will find a Kira candidate this early.' Light thought. Before he got the death note, he was like her, thinking that the law could punish everyone accordingly to their crime. But when he got the death note. He realized that fear was the best chain for humans.
'I have to pursue her first though. To make sure she will not betray my expectation.' Light thought. He planned to ask Chabashira a philosophy question regularly, he will express his opinion over and over to make her brain absorb his thought process. Even though this way had a low chance of success, it was better to have a little foundation.
Light walked on the way to the mall until he heard a shout from the nearby convenience store.
"What? I'm in class D, so what?" A red hair man shouted to the 3 men. Near the commotion, Horikita, and Ayanokoji were inspecting the situation in the supermarket with cold eyes. Light turned his eyes to the 3 students who seem to be the upperclassmen. He walked toward the commotion with a smile, put his hand on the red hair man's shoulder, and glared at the upperclassmen's eyes.
"Hey! What are you doing!" The red hair man was pissed that someone touched his shoulder. Light ignored the red hair man and spoke.
"Are you guys an upperclassman?" Light asked with a friendly smile.
"Yeah, we're 2nd year Class C. So, show us respect, junior." One of the seniors said.
"Oh? Good afternoon, Class C seniors." Light said slowly with an emphasis on 'the Class C' word.
"You fu*ker! Are you looking down on our class because we can't change to class B?" One of the seniors shouted. The other two seniors were shocked at their friend's words. The shouted senior seems to realize that he spoke what he should not say and tried to walk away.
"According to your words. Class order is important but it can be changed right?" Light asked. His hand was on the shoulder of the senior who was preparing to run away.
"Wha..t...ar...e...you...talking about? I didn't say anything. Are you daydreaming, Junior?" The senior averted his eyes, his body was shaking madly.
"It's okay senior, everything is ok. I'm just wondering if I ask my homeroom teacher what I daydream about. Will she tell me?" Light asked in a threatening tone.
"Ahahaha. Your joke is funny, junior." The senior said in a panicking tone with sweat on his forehead. Light didn't say anything and continued to smile.
"Ok, what do you want, junior? I can give you some school tips, you know?" One of the other two seniors said with a serious face.
"Well, if you give me some points to buy a bag of apples. I will not talk about our conversation to anyone. Of course, we have to sign a contract." Light said with a playful smile. He managed to get Ryuk free apples and he can know how the contract system worked. He could ask for more points but he had to keep his character in his classmate's sight.
"Wha...Is that all?" The seniors asked in a surprised tone.
"Of course, I just want to warn seniors to think before speaking in the future. The apples are my payment." Light said while he was signing the content of the contract.
'So, it was this easy to pit someone into a contract.' Light thought. Revising his plan in silence while the seniors were signing the contract. The seniors forgot that a certain red hair man was standing near them, confused in their entire conversation. The red-haired man was not saying anything until now because Light had glanced at him whenever he was about to speak. After they had finished signing the contract. The seniors transferred the points to Light phone and walked away from him immediately.
"Hey. Thank you for the help. My name is Ken Sudo. I'm good at basketball and beating jerks. If you have anything you want me to help with, ask away." Sudo said with a bright smile while he put his hand on Light shoulder.
"No problem. As a class leader, it is natural to help classmates. Let's hang out together sometimes and if you have any problem, please ask me. I'm willing to help you." Light said with a friendly smile and watched Sudo walk away. He throw a glance at Horikita and Ayanokoji duo who was still watching him. He ignored both of them and walked toward the mall.
Light arrived at the technical shop in the mall. He bought 4 hidden cameras with an audio recorder for 5,000 points each. After that, he went to the supermarket and bought a bag of apples and a bag of chips. He returned to his dorm room, set up hidden cameras with his phone, and set up one camera in his room. He checked the camera footage. After that, he called Kei to visit his room. When he heard the bell ring, he opened the door and saw a blushful Kei in the T-shirt.
"Come in, Kei. Let's talk more about ourselves." Light said with a smile. Kei nodded and came in. They talked about self-interest, but Light mainly listened to Kei while he was inspecting the useful information he received from the conversation. From Kei, he found out that Class C had mainly rude and violent people. Class B had naive and so-so abilities. Class A was an elite group with a high ego. Light named the interesting name in another class.

'Honami Ichinose'
'Kakeru Ryuen'
'I can't wait to see your abilities. Will any of you be qualified to be L?' Light thought with an evil smile. Kei did not notice his smile, she continue to speak meaning less information until evening. After that, Kei returned to her room. Light started speaking to the silent Shinigami who was eating apples.
"Ryuk, today you were more silent than usual." Light said.
"Well, I guess I was distracted by apples. And you were with a woman almost the entire day, so I don't want to co*kblock you." Ryuk said with his usual face. Light ignored Ryuk once again and went to sleep.
