Chapitre 84: Chase (2)

"Ian! Do not run away from me!" Scarlet yelled, continuing to chase Ian to get answers out of him. 

Thanks to Ian walking so she could catch up to him in no time, Scarlet was able to grab his hand before he could go down the stairs.

"Enjoyed the running?" Ian teasingly asked. Scarlet looked like she could push him down the stairs and not regret it. The bright side would be having her nurse him back to health. "You should take my words more seriously from now on."

"When did my mother send a letter to you and what did it say?" Scarlet asked.

"What letter?" Ian feigned ignorance. 

"Do not act like you do not know what I speak of. When did my mother invite you for dinner?" Scarlet asked once more.

"Come now, Scarlet. What makes you think I would share more with you for free? You're an excellent business woman so you know that everything has a price. So, what do I want?" Ian thought about it out loud.
