CHAPTER 132

Pearl did not struggle and nuzzled her face on his bare chest. 

Ba-dump! Ba-dump!

Instead of responding to his words as he had hoped, she concentrated on the fast beat of his heart. 

"Pearl?"

"Hmm?" She did not give in to him and studied his chest instead. 

"Stop being that way and look at me."

"I was doing so and you complained."

"That wasn't a complain." He exhaled and let his hand drop to the small of her back. "I was teasing."

"Too bad, Zale, I am not teasing you, young man."

"Okay." He pressed a kiss on her forehead and sat up on the bed. Shocked, Pearl reached out to speak to him. 

She had least expected him to do that and not want to take advantage of the position they were in and do things with her. 

"What do you want to do? Eat and rest or should we take a stroll?"
