Chapitre 27: 27
A/N: I'm not the best with fight scenes, so I hope it will be decent enough to read through.
Anyways, on with the story!

"Alright, professor, we've agreed to work together, but who is attacking you and Mystique?" Scott asked telepathically.
"He's my stepbrother, Cain Marko, or as he's most famously known as The Juggernaut. He's an unstoppable force, and I caution you children to be careful when facing him," Xavier projected in our heads.
"How do we stop him?" Lance asked.
"You'll have to get his helmet off his head, and I shall do the rest," Charles said before the telpathic link was cut.
"Professor!? PROFESSOR!!!" Scott called out.
"There ain't no use in yelling. Fuzzball, how fast can you get us to your mansion?" Lance asked.
"Uhh, I've never traveled that far before," Kurt said.
Before Lance could do anything to Kurt, I stepped in front of Kurt and pushed Lance back.
"You might want to cool down now, or you're gonna find yourself buried back in that water well," I told him, making him glare at me.
"Guys!! We don't have time for this," Rogue exclaimed.
"She's right," Scott said. "Let's suit up."

After we all got in our suits, we gathered around Kurt, as he was gonna try to teleport us all to the mansion.
"I got a lock on the Professor's and Mystique's minds, I'm hoping this'll help you out, Kurt," I told him as I mentally sent him both mutants' exact whereabouts.
Lucky for us, they were still together.
"Alright, hold on, everyone," Kurt said.
We all clasped hands with each other with Scott and Lance, taking Kurt's hands to complete our circle.
For a minute, we were still at the water well, but then we were suddenly gone and appeared in the Danger Room in front of the Professor and Mystique.
"You did it, Kurt," Scott said as he saw the familiar walls.
"Good, but I think I'll be out for the rest of this fight," Kurt said before he passed out.
Setting Kurt to the side, we focused on the problem at hand.
As we stood across from the Juggernaut, I could feel my heart racing and my palms sweating. I knew this was going to be a difficult fight, but we just need to stall him long enough for us to take his helmet off.
"You're having children fight your battles now, Charles? You're pathetic," Marko said before he started charging at us.
"Jean, Betsy, now," Scott ordered.
Betsy and I looked at each other and tapped into our Psionic Energy, her making a lasso/whip and me making my TK Bombs.
I fired the bomb at Juggernaut's face, where it exploded on impact, but it only seemed to stun him, which was all Psylocke needed as she jumped over the rest of us and wrapped the rope around Cain's body. Locking down his arms so he couldn't move.
"Kitty! Phase his legs through the ground so he can't move," I ordered Shadowcat.
"On it!!" Kitty exclaimed as she ran and jumped on Cain and started phasing his lower body down into the floor.
"Hurry up, guys, because he is really strong, and I can't hold him back forever," Psylocke said in a strained tone as she pulled back on her rope.
"Sanders take that helmet off him," Lance ordered the speedsters.
"I'm on it," James said before zipping off to Juggernaut's restrained form.
He unhooked the first two clasps that were on the front and made his way to the back. For a minute, it looked like we were gonna win this without it going to hell, but knowing how my luck works, something bad is going to happen.
"Do you children know who I am?" Cain questioned them as he trembled, and the ground around him started cracking.
"Sanders, hurry up!!!" Psylocke yelled as she tightened her hold on her psionic rope.
"I'M THE JUGGERNAUT!!!" Cain yelled as he exploded from the ground with pure strength, sending Psylocke, Speed Demon, and Kitty flying into the walls of the Danger Room and into unconsciousness.
"Lance unsettle his path," Scott ordered.
Lance nodded and used his power to shake the ground so Juggernaut couldn't charge his way at us, but that only turned his charge into a slow, unsteady walk. To help him out, I brought forth my Psionic Energy and used it to make a long continuous blast that pushed back Cain a few steps.

I ignored the notification and focused on putting more power into the blast.
"Scott, try to aim at his helmet," Charles said to Cyclops.
"Alright, professor," Scott said as he aimed his visor and shot his optic beams at the intersection of the helmet, knocking the whole thing off Juggernaut's head.
"I'm sorry, Cain," Charles said before Juggernaut started yelling as he held his head and then passed out.
[Ding!]
"You did well, children, all of you," Xavier congratulated us.
"Come on, boys, Psylocke. Let's get out of here before you're invited to a slumber party, " Mystique said as she walked towards the exit of the Danger Room.
"Hey, Summers, as a group leader,
you're only half-bad," Lance complemented.
"Then next time you can call the shots," Scott said, smirking.
"Trust me. There won't be a next time," Lance said, walking away along with the rest of the Brotherhood.
"Were you just flirting with Lance?" I teased Scott.
"W-W-What!?!? No!!!" He stuttered while turning red as a tomato.
The others and I started laughing at him as we also walked out of the Danger Room.

Third Person POV:
After taking the teens back to the house, Mystique went to a secluded industrial area that was away from prying eyes.
"So what do you think?" She asked into the night.
"They performed better than I thought they would," a voice said as a shadowy figure with glowing yellow eyes appeared in front of her.
"Why Juggernaut?" Mystique questioned.
"I needed to test how strong both your's and Xavier's kids were, and an unstoppable force was the right decision. Now, I can initiate my plan," the voice said.
