Ella was at a loss for words, as she didn't even know how to start to even explain. It was all but obvious, yet as she stared at the clueless expression pressing against her Master's sublime features graceful as flakes of snow. She shook her head no, knowing it would make no difference if she explained or not.
The Silver Devil stared for a second or two, shrugged, and turned his attention back to the figure of Lunafreya. His hands grew clasped as he began.
"Tiamat, are you there?" He called, applying Astral Force to his voice.
The winds whistled through the gaps of the temple, billowing against Zariels tied hair, causing a frown to tarnish his features.
"Tiamat," Zariel called once again.
The winds were now howling, brewing up a storm above the temple. Rattling the ground beneath them, Zariel nodded and continued. "I've found a particular painting that caught my eye, and I'm curious if you could shed some light on this." He pulled out a portrait of a mighty dragon with seven heads, reigning terror over the Capital of Ferrum, Seigram.
"Run," Came the mighty voice of Tiamat.
"Eh?"
'Zariel, run!"
Startled, flickers of death and war flashed like the blinding flare of fire through the Young Master's mind as he sent the portray back into his soul and grabbed hold of Ella, seamlessly as the icy glint of sword intent tore through the Temple of Lunafreya, burrowing through stone like hot butter, the sword intent followed Zariel, who whipped severance from its cage.
Meeting the intent that pushed him off his feet and through the forest, Zariel and Ella skimmed over the surface of Alos like a rock on the water before he stopped.
Blood trickled from Zariels brow as he slowly stopped by plunging severance into the Earth to slow his flight. He snapped his gaze towards the floating man, wearing a silver dragon mask draped in loose black robes.
"A priest," Ella weakly said, a little battered but healthy.
"A dragon priest, 'Corrected Zariel, letting go of Ella as he rose to his feet, wiping the blood trickling from his brow. He smiled, touching the warm blood, "It's been a while since someone made me bleed."
"Hand over the Portrayed of Flames. " Rasped the Dragon Priest, holding a great sword the size of Zariel and Ella combined; on the blade's cold black edge stood seven runes bleeding a mighty aura. "It will be returned to the Order of the Dragon."
The Silver Devil chuckled, tasting the ruby blood over his fingers," Young man," He started, peering through the mask as though it didn't exist. He smirked. " I'm going to tear your legs off your body."
'Eh?" The Dragon priest's limbs stiffened as the trees began to withered to dust, as a killing intent began to bleed into existence.
Silvery hair danced with the winds, blocking the devil's face as it twisted into something dark, something from the debts of the Hells. Zariel propelled himself with a flawless levitation spell and stared coldly at the priest, startling the masked man, who could not believe what he was seeing.
Severance suddenly began to tremble within the hands of Zariel, hissing like a dragon in the winds, picking up dust, as the killing intent within the realm began to howl. The Greatsword within the hands of the Dragon Priest shuddered, causing fear to trickle through the mind of this lone priest.
"Who are—'
"Sshhhh," interrupted Zariel gently as if to hush the sounds of a child. " No need to speak all the information I need will come from when I take your soul."
"Then prepare yourself, boy,"
The Silver Devil chuckled. " I'm older than you. But allow my skills to be dusted off." he cracked his neck, and with a single step, the crackles of sound rupturing exploded as Zariel barreled through the sound barrier, clashing so hard against the Dragon Priest, who barely had time to parry was blasted from the air into the ground, as the Silver Devils left hand suddenly danced through the air.
Runes one after the other flared with Acana as the world laws trembled at the shear might burning within these runes. He pointed towards the cracked mask of the Dragon, staggering to his feet, fear dancing along his spine when suddenly words he never wished to hear entered his ear.
"Lur'aya," Zariel said in the ancient tongue of the Elves, casting a powerful hex that suddenly encompassed the forest, pressing down like a mountain onto the dragon priest, forcing his knees to bend and his will to wain.
He cried bellowing as Acana flared like a coming storm from his body. The Dragon Priest roared and pushed himself up to his feet, fixing his stone-cold eyes over Zariel.
"Powerful,' said the Dragon Priest, through rasp breaths. "A true monster, one I cannot allow to exist." Crackles of scarlet lightning suddenly began to flicker over the edge of the Greatsword, grabbing Zariels attention. "You will die."
Weakened by Zariels Hex, the stranger's teeth pressed tightly together as he soared back into the air.
"Lightning? Really? is that all you have?" Said an amused Zariel shaking his head pitifully. "You can barely move, much less swing your sword." He scuffed and suddenly shot forward, appearing in range in less than two steps. Severance hissed through the winds in a semi-circle ark of silver light, missing its mark as the Dragon Priest suddenly vanished.
Taken back. Zariel's eyes peered into the Weave as his head snapped towards Ella with a blade to her neck.
"Hold boy or—"
Astral force flared like a coming storm. Invisible and deadly, it struck against the Dragon's Priest's head, burying him into the Earth without another word, as Zariell appeared ruthlessly stomping his foot over the masked man.
Splintering the Earth, the Silver Devil continued to stomp over and over till blood stained his tunic and trousers over and over until the mask cracked open, revealing a deformity of blood and flesh. Severance soon flashed, stealing the leg of the dragon priest, who howled, from the depths of his lungs, splintering the air with his voice.
Zariel willed the severed appendage into his hand as he peered down and touched the wound on his head. "I'm going to beat you to death until your head cracks, and your brains bathe this forest floor. Till your corpse is nothing but paste, I won't stop. Let this be a warning to your Order of the Dragon."
