Chapitre 97: Chapter 97: After Cale (2)

"It's ridiculous to take students back to a dungeon after Cale's death!"

Veronica grumbled as she slaughtered the goblins with her scythe. It had only been two weeks, but the academy had ignored the incident that led to Cale's death and had supposedly taken precautions to have the students explore the dungeon again.

"I haven't seen Amaris and Dante since then. Weren't they the closest ones to Cale? I didn't even see them at Cale's funeral." Sylvie killed the goblins with her spell.

Sylvie's curiosity was understandable. Ever since the academy started, they had always seen the three of them side by side. Even though Felix and Hope joined them from time to time, those three seemed closer. And rightly so, she found it strange that they didn't attend Cale's funeral.

"Those idiots probably didn't attend because they still believed Cale was alive," Veronica said, rolling her eyes.
