A woman wearing a burlesque dress appeared from behind velvet curtains wearing a wide smile. Crowds of people cheered as she showed up, dazzled by the diamonds she was wearing.
Like the mermaid Lorelei, she started singing her heart out into this crowd. But she knew that they were only here for her looks, and for the 'real show' she will be giving later.
They did not even pay attention to what she was singing, or how great her English accent was. Of course, there were the occasional women who would recognize this iconic song…..
But many of them were just like her, selling looks and bodies. The ability to sing or do anything else is just a plus.
"Men grow cold
As girls grow old
And we all lose our charms in the end
But square-cut or pear-shaped."
She continued to sing while swaying her hips and flashing her long and smooth legs.
"These rocks don't lose their shape
Diamonds are a girl's best friend"
