Ava let out her umpteenth sigh as she stared at her untouched food.

She wasn't eating it because she thought it was poisoned. Or because of what she had talked about with Kieran earlier.

She wasn't eating it because… it tasted weird.

The witch who made this insisted that this was intentional. Eating vegetables would be good for her health. Especially now that she had lost a lot of weight. The witch even dared tell her that her cheekbones were so sharp, it could accidentally cut anyone.

Damnit, she cursed inwardly.

Where is the damn meat?

When she asked the witch earlier about the meat, the woman actually told her that this was Ulva's instruction. They wanted her to gain weight and be healthier.
