Chapitre 266: Ancient Spells
Ava smiled as she walked inside a small cave-like structure not far away from the castle.
"Your Highness, I didn't know that you were coming?" Erenes, who stood in front of Ava frowned.
"Let him be," Ava said. She was honestly too happy to even explain to Matthew what they were doing here. All she told him was the fact that she needed to finish this before the sun rises. And he just followed her without asking questions. "Where is he?" she asked as she examined the entrance of the Royal Morgue.
"Are you sure this is a royal morgue? Wasn't this too shabby?"
"This isn't," Erenes answered. "But Kieran already lost his mother. The Queen was just waiting for him to die. Why would she treat him with respect when he is already… 'dead'?
Ava stopped walking. She looked at Matthew behind her and smiled.
In response, he reached out and held her hand.
