Chapitre 35: Proving a Point

Melrose's lips dropped open and before she could recover from shock, Reed closed their gap and kissed her. His lips molded into hers in a territorial way as if it were his to mark and rule. He branded her mouth with his taste, trying to control his thirst and be gentle, but wanton need was ruling his mind. He could not help but want for more.

Just when his senses knocked over him and he decided to withdraw, Reed was caught by surprise when he felt Melrose moving her lips along with his. He was ready to be slapped for his impulsive act, but instead she returned his kisses. The heat from her mouth and body sent flickers of flame to his body, melting the coldness that caged him for so long.

Melrose arched her back a bit when Reed's palms pressed onto her small waist. It was like a dream, she thought. Being kissed and touched like this, feeling this foreign warmth for the first time, it was like being offered a sinful pleasure one could not refuse.
