[Kaienreki Calendar 1506, January]
Lupin had rushed into the village and asked the Kuja tribeswomen about the whereabouts of the Boa Sisters, but they just told him that they were killed on their last raid.
It wasn't something uncommon for Kuja warriors to die in battle, especially since they regularly clashed with pirates who aimed for the New World. And while a lot of them were naive and clueless about the true dangers of the second half of the Grand Line, there were also those amongst them who were prepared and had the necessary strength for such an endeavor.
The Boa Sisters were thought to have been killed in such a clash, nearly three months ago. The villagers didn't really care much about them and while they grieved briefly that was just the way it was for them.
Lupin himself wouldn't have been bothered if he knew they had really died, but he knew better. Their fate was in many ways worse than death.
A fate he was going to save them from.
Why? For one, he quite liked the trio of girls and second he had an absolute hate for slavers. His own desire and ambitions were revolving about freedom, so slavers represented the complete opposite of his dream.
They were simply fated to be mortal enemies.
Another part of his hate for them came from his bond to Ina. Lupin knew about her history and was very empathetic towards her, so his aversion against them was also influenced by Ina's own hate for them.
Of course this didn't mean, that he was going to scour the whole world for slavers to exterminate them all. But he wouldn't stand them just taking people he knew and liked from him.
A burst of Conqueror's Haki had handled the Kuja, who had at that point started to attack him. After which he had left the Calm Belt directly in the direction of the Sabaody Archipelago.
Taking with him only his sword, a bag of spare clothes and the little amount of money he had. Dressed in his usual choice of shorts, sandals and a sleeveless hoody, he had strapped the bag and sword to his back, before he used Kamisoru to travel at his maximum speed.
While using Kamisoru for extended periods of time would drain most people quickly of their stamina, he could keep this up for weeks if he had to thanks to his special heritage and training.
Kamisoru was also his favourite technique amongst the Rokushiki and the one he had the most proficiency with. He had even started to develop a new technique on the basis of Kamisoru, but it wasn't yet ready to be used.
It took Lupin only a few hours to reach the Sabaody Archipelago, upon which he scaled the whole place in a few seconds and searched for the Boa Sisters presence with his Observation Haki.
It was a shot in the dark, as he knew that most high-quality slaves were sold as soon as possible and it had already been roughly three months since their capture.
And as expected, he failed to locate them on the island, which left only one place for them to be in – Mary Geoise, home of the Celestial Dragons.
Lupin knew that he would probably go there in the future, simply because he wanted to explore the city and its well-hidden secrets, but he did not expect it to happen so soon.
He knew that Fisher Tiger had at one point stormed the city and freed all the slaves by himself, a very impressive feat, considering his strength was only around the lowest level of Admiral, according to his guesses.
Tiger had been able to defeat a Rear admiral with a simple kick and defeat Jinbei easily, who at that point already had a black belt in Fishman Karate.
Lupin thought it very possible that Fisher Tiger could defeat most Vice Admirals on his own in a one-on-one, excluding Garp(like always) and Logia users like Borsalino or Kuzan. Fisher Tiger had probably also chosen an opportune moment for his assault, as he clearly knew the terrain well and had some knowledge Lupin clearly lacked.
Lupin himself though at this point had the strength of an Admiral thanks to his impressive mastery over many different techniques. So, in theory he should be able to accomplish what Fisher Tiger had done.
Still, it would be foolish to just storm the place using force, a distraction was the way to go. And he had already found the perfect one.
Celestial Dragons, two of them roaming the Sabaody Archipelago, which Lupin recognized to be from the Roswald family.
Lupin could of course remember them from the show. It was one of the absolutely best scenes when Luffy had punched Charlos across the room.
At this time though, the daughter of Saint Roswald wasn't even born yet, and Charlos himself was just a little boy. And even so, he still behaved with the same arrogance all World Nobles carried with them.
Lupin, saw the boy threatening some common people and even attempting to shoot one man until his father stopped him from making a commotion and simply ordered the poor guy to be whipped by one of the Cypher Pol agents at his side.
It was that moment that Lupin decided to appear before the two World Nobles, standing out among all the other kneeling people, as he walked straight towards them and the handful of people at their side – agents and slaves serving the Celestial Dragons.
Lupin could sense even some pirate newcomers among the kneeling people, but didn't really bother with them.
"Mhhmm, a commoner who dares to not kneel in the presence of Nobles! Father, let me show this lowly being the consequences of his actions,"
"What an uncultured animal. Charlos, you may do with him as you like."
*Murmur*
The surrounding crowd was as astonished about Lupin's brazen act as the World Nobles themselves.
The at this point five year old Saint Charlos meanwhile had raised his golden pistol, aimed and simply fired at Lupin.
Though the desired result was nowhere to be seen, instead the bullet had been caught between the two fingers of Lupin.
"WHAT?!", father and son shouted out at the same time.
The surrounding murmurs grew several octaves, along with some shocked exclamations.
"How unlucky you are, Celestial Dragons. To have met me here on my first visit to the Archipelago.", a blank voice sounded out.
The instant Lupin had finished his sentence, he simply reappeared behind Roswald and pierced through his chest with his hand, ripping out his heart.
"AHHH!!"
"DAMN! WHAT A LUNATIC! Run for your lives men! An Admiral is going to show up!"
"You gotta be kidding me... Well, we're fucked..."
"F-fat-FATHER! HOW DARE YOU LOWLY BEAST KILL MY FATHER!"
"Men! Attack the criminal, who killed the Saint Roswald! And take the young Saint Charlos to safety!", an agent, who had managed to keep his wits about him, screamed.
*PENG* *PENG* *PENG* *PENG* *PENG* *PENG*
Dropping the heart to the ground, Lupin ignored the commotion around him and simply blocked all incoming bullets with his hands.
Seeing some agents picking up the young World Noble and trying to escape with him, Lupin just evaded the incoming attacks from the rest of the agents and appeared before that particular agent.
Before he or anyone other could react to his movements, he simply bisected him with a kick to his midsection, using the same combination of Tekkai and Kami-e he used for his Hand Blade to turn his leg into a blade for a moment.
Afterward he simply grabbed the young World Noble by his characteristical Celestial Dragon outfit and lifted him up to his face.
"Let go of Saint Charlos this instant, Criminal!"
"Surrender now and you might get away with a simple execution!"
Some agents shouted, trying to dissuade him from harming the boy,
"You-u m-monster! Y-You kil-killed my father, you will suffer for that!"
Lupin at this point was just astonished at the sheer stupidity of the child in front of him. Even now the boy didn't realize that he was going to die next and should beg for his life, instead of threatening him.
Holding up the Celestial Dragonling in the air with his right fist, Lupin used the muscles from all over his body to generate power, which he then directed into that fist and let the power erupt into a terrifying shockwave that simply turned the boy's whole upper body into bloody mist.
This was what happens when someone uses Rokuogan on an absolute weakling.
Lupin somehow found it poetic that both World Nobles he had killed, died to techniques he had either developed on the basis of the Rokushiki or directly from the Rokushiki, as these techniques were said to be exclusive for Cypher Pol and the Marines to learn.
What followed this bloody spectacle was a pin-drop silence, before absolute pandemonium set in.
The civilians and pirates fled even faster, while the agents all attacked with disregard to their own lives. The slaves of the two dead Nobles meanwhile just cried in a mix of happiness and despair.
*SHING*
Lupin just decapitated the agents in one fell swoop with his Hand Blade.
Approaching the slaves, Lupin simply grabbed their slave collars despite their weak protests and used Internal Destruction on them, freeing them in the process.
The three slaves, two males and one female, couldn't really process the happenings of the last minute. Everything happened way too fast.
From the appearance of a long-haired boy with crystal eyes, to the murder of two World Nobles and their subsequent liberation.
"You should run, the Marines will be here in a short while."
Lupin left them with these words, before he used Kamisoru to move towards the Red Line and Mary Geoise.
Any high-level perso nnel nearby, including those on Mary Geoise, would now be sent towards Sabaody in an attempt to find and arrest him.
He would just have to move past the ones leaving the Holy City on top of the Red Line, find the Boa Sisters, free them and any other slave he had the time for, before escaping with the Boa Sisters.
It honestly sounded harder than it was.
The most important skill for this rather simple plan was his Observation Haki, which was at a range of roughly sixty kilometers in diameter at this point, which was true to his moniker simply monstrous.
Sadly at full range it was hard to sense much detail, but he would only need to find their general direction anyway. The nearer he got the more accurate his senses would be and at twenty kilometers in diameter, his Haki was perfectly accurate.
Lupin reached the top of the Red Line after just a few short seconds by using his maximum speed.
On the way here, he had already sensed a very strong presence similar to Kuzan move towards Sabaody. Accompanied by several other weaker presences.
He waited for an hour to make sure that the Marines had already arrived at Sabaody and wouldn't return anytime soon.
Assured that enough time had passed for all the high-level personnel that may have been in Mary Geoise to leave for Sabaody, Lupin approached the city.
Several moments later he reached the outskirts of the city and his rampage began.
Every slave he met, he freed. While every World Noble he met, he killed or maimed. All the while moving in the direction he sensed the Boa Sisters in.
A lot of agents and guards attacked him and the escaped slaves, but he simply ripped them apart with his bare hands.
Until only a few minutes later, he reached the mansion where he had sensed the three girls. Their presence had changed a lot and even though he could still recognize them, he knew that they had already been forced to eat devil fruits.
He assumed that the World Noble, probably already had possessed these three devil fruits and bought the girls as he thought of them as perfect recipients for the fruits.
Via his Haki, he could feel their despair, hate, humiliation, anger and horror clearly. And it just made his attacks more ferocious, appearing in the room he sensed them in a moment later.
The sight that greeted him was something that would probably haunt him for years.
Some fat World Noble and his friends were raping Hancock, while her sisters were tortured right next to her by some female World Nobles.
Dark blue lightning erupted from Lupin's whole body as his Conqueror's Haki merged with his whole frame at the sight of those he considered friends being harmed like that.
Ignoring the shouts in his direction, he simply started with the men who abused Boa Hancock and ripped them all in half.
Meanwhile, the pressure his whole being exuded stopped the rest of the Celestial Dragons in the room and half of the city from moving even a single finger.
That was how great his power and control over his Haki had gotten in his training.
They were helpless against his power, simply waiting to be slaughtered like livestock. Which is exactly what he did with them, using the utmost brutality he could muster. Though without drawing out his actions, as he was aware that he only had roughly an hour, before the Marines returned.
Bathed in the blood of his victims, Lupin freed the three sisters from their collars without a word.
They themselves were shocked by his appearance and the subsequent massacre he had committed in front of them. They huddled up together, while suppressing their urge to just break down completely, as they knew they weren't safe yet.
Lupin pointed towards a direction and left a few words behind.
"Go in that direction, there should be some boats and an elevator that can help you reach the Grand Line. Leave as soon as possible and try to avoid any Marines you meet. I will follow you after I am done here."
Turning around he just continued to free any slave he found, but at this point he hardly met any more Celestial Dragons. It seemed they had a way to evacuate to a safe place in moments of danger through their mansions, which couldn't be captured by his Observation Haki.
Still, there were enough guards for him to slay.
A few minutes later, shortly before he planned to retreat from Mary Geoise, he came across a very special slave, namely Fisher Tiger.
Lupin, who was still surrounded by faint dark blue lightning, simply stretched out his hand towards the Fish-Man, who was nearly thrice his size.
Fisher Tiger immediately crouched down, so the boy could reach his collar.
Grabbing the slave collar and destroying it with familiar ease, he was about to finally retreat when he heard Tiger speaking.
"I thank you for freeing me, human. And for freeing them. Nobody should be forced to live in such a hell. For this, I owe you a debt. Find me at Fishman Island, when you want it to be repaid."
Directly afterwards Fisher Tiger left towards the docks like the rest of the former slaves had.
Lupin himself had already massacred all the guards and agents that were sent to deal with him, the strongest of them only reaching the power equivalent to a Rear Admiral.
Lupin had simply crushed that man's skull. And as he still had some time, before he had to go, Lupin decided to do one last thing before leaving.
