~~~(POV: Lyatt Scott)~~~
~~~(Date: February 9th, 2297)~~~

~~~(Time: 10:33 AM)~~~
I kill monster after monster. Utilizing my strong skills to take out multiple enemies at once. I'm mainly using Black Spear and Dark Vines. They're the cheapest attacks I have, and they're perfect for fighting large groups of monsters like I'm doing now. The Mini-boss known as Orezal should be coming up soon, but I need to take a break after I kill these last few monsters so I can regenerate my mana. I throw the last Black Spear and kill the last monster in the process. I make my way over towards a dirt-covered rock, and I take a seat.
My in-game body is sore from all the close calls ad having to dodge. This dungeon shouldn't be taken on alone, and here I am. Doing the exact thing I'd recommend other players not to do. There is a funny sense of Hypocrisy. What makes it funny is I'm only being hypocritical to myself. My mana is regenerating at the same rate as any fresh player. While the slowly climbs to full, I see that I gained 15 player level EXP, Dark Vines has gained 40 EXP, and Black Spear has gained 10 EXP. Making it level 1, and it's stronger, but more expensive to use simultaneously.
Staying ahead of this mana demand will be a nightmare, but I'll be able to do it. Hitting the right dungeons and taking on the right quests. It's all a part of getting stronger. After spending some time relaxing, my mana fully regenerates, and I'm ready for action. There shouldn't be any more monsters between Orezal and me at this point. Once I enter his boss room, I'll have to manage to attack him and manage the monsters that spawn to help him. This is an encounter meant to be taken on by multiple people at once, after all.
My knowledge about Orezal is only about some of his origins and how he attacks, and his weaknesses. He'll be difficult, and I'm looking forward to the challenge of taking him on. The path I'm walking in the cavernous walls of the dungeon that leads to a door. This is the door that leads to Orezal. I place my hand on it, and I slowly push it open. Lanterns and torches light all across the room to show a goatish beast waiting in the middle of the room. He has a giant double-headed ax. I use the scan skill on him and see his information.
He's level 8 and has 180 health. I can one-shot him, but I'm already getting swarmed by monsters, and I'm using Dark Vines to hold them all and get rid of them. My mana is quickly draining, and now Orezal is all over me too. He isn't fast enough to actually hit me, but my God is it annoying. I capture him in Dark Vines, and he can't move. Holding him in place. I cast a Dark Burst, and a jet black ball forms in a swirling darkness in front of my left index finger. I launch the attack, and it blasts the entire top half of his body off.
I watch as the remaining monsters run away in fear or cower. The ones that stay are killed by Dark Vines. I gained another 40 player level EXP, 25 EXP for Black Spear, 70 EXP for Dark Vines, and 45 EXP for Dark Burst. My mana is almost so low I can't cast a single one of my skills. I walk out of the boss room towards a door behind Orezal. He doesn't drop anything, but Xerxol has a small chance to drop some decent items. Once in the new hallway, I take a seat cause I will have to fight through more monsters on the way to Xerxol.
I can say with confidence that the hardest part about this dungeon is coming up next. I'd prefer a team for this last encounter, but I usually only group up with others when it's absolutely necessary. This isn't that. I find a good place to sit while I wait for my mana to regen. This is the most annoying thing ever. Fighting a group of monsters, and then, having to stop before the next fight because I'm all out of mana. I don't know how Devin did it, but he stayed ahead of the mana demand. Goes to show how good of a player he really is.
