Chapitre 1: It's Fine, But I would Still Punish You

[ BEAST REALM]


Mount Qingcheng , the most dazzling area enclosed by giant mountains. If one climbs the top and listens carefully, they would hear the voices of beasts. That's if ,
it's possible for one to be able to climb the mountain.

That is where the Beast Royals reside, Yihua Palace. Their Emperor, Su Baiyi, can be seen sitting behind a table with a silver mask on. His entire face was covered with the silver mask , except his eyes which were currently closed. He had long silver - blue hair, which was adorned with silver ornaments. He had silver earrings on his upper earlobes, and was clad in a pure white robe.

" Your Majesty. Her highness is in labor. " A feminine voice said.

Su Baiyi's eyes snapped opened when he heard her voice. His eyes were gray, and piercing. He appeared in front of the person outside the door. His hair reaching the back of his knees.

" How long?" He asked. His voice was surprisingly soft yet stern.

The woman who had her head bowed, rised up. She was wearing a white robe , with a silver tassel hanging from her waist that read ' Seventh disciple' . She had bright pink hair, and light pink eyes. Her body was appropriately proportioned. She was beautiful. She looked at the man in front of her with respect,and...fear.

" Twenty minutes. She is in pain. " She answered.
Immediately she replied, he vanished like a flash.

" Ah.. Today is not going right. " The girl lamented as she looked at the position where the Emperor was standing, initially.

She ran out of the hallway at a frightening speed. She moved as fast as a cheetah.

Meanwhile, the Emperor had arrived in a room. A delicate female, was lying on a king-sized, jade bed in pain. Sweat was trickling down her forehead. She was wearing a bright red robe. She had long pure white hair, which was scattered around, and a pair of red eyes. Three women surrounded her. One of them had black hair, and the others had green hair.

The woman on the bed seemed to notice something, and turned her head to see the Emperor.

" Yi'er….." She slowly called out.
The females, hearing that, quickly bowed down.

" Your Majesty. " They chorused.

Su Baiyi walked up to the bed, and sat on the stool beside her.He held her hand.

" Aunt, you will be fine. I am here. " He said, softly.

The woman on the bed chuckled.

" Are you trying to rile me up? It's not working. Yi'er, I don't think I can do this. I am becoming weak with each passing second. No matter how hard I push, my baby …..…I…. need him.." Her voice quivered at the end of her sentence.

A sharp glint flashed across the Emperor's eyes.

" That uncle of mine is not responsible. Is he supposed to go into seclusion during this period? How about this Aunt Lin, leave my uncle and stay with me?"

The woman laughed at the Emperor's antics. Seeing that she was laughing, the Emperor smiled. But it was hidden by his mask, so no one knows what expressions he makes.

" Or what if you don't let him near you after your delivery? "

The woman smiled, and answered him.
" That would be too much for him to handle."

The Emperor made many jokes for an hour, to take her mind off the pain she was experiencing.

" Ahhhhhhhhh..." The woman suddenly screamed, as a pool of blood formed around her legs.

" Her Highness is losing a lot of blood, Your Majesty. " The woman with black hair said.

The Emperor turned towards the direction of the woman who just talked. Seeing the gaze, the woman shivered in fear.

" Get the herbs , now." His voice screamed authority. His tone was ice cold, and his stare was like an injured beast. Well ...he was typically a beast.



' Too scary.!!' The women thought. Without delay, they left to get what they were ordered to.

" Yi'er…. I don't think…I can do this. " The woman muttered, slowly.


The Emperor held her hand tightly.
" You can.!! You are stronger than this.!!" He shouted. He placed his fingers on her pulse, and read it. Her pulse was…weak.

The women arrived, and quickly displayed what they went to get on the table. Simultaneously, the woman's pulse stopped and her eyes closed shut.

" Your Highness!!!! " The women screamed out.

The Emperor was immobile. He couldn't move from his position. His fingers were still on Aunt
Lin's arm.

" Lin'er!!!! " A deep voice called out.


A man with black hair, and blue eyes appeared right beside the bed. He was very handsome, with his slight muscular build. He had a look of horror on , as he watched his beloved closed eyes.

The Emperor looked ferocious. His gray eyes had sparks of blue in them. The temperature of the room changed, simulatneously. Noticing this, the man turned around.

" Yi'er, what.are .you. planning. to. do? "
He asked slowly. The women couldn't stand the temperature, and fainted instantly.

" Uncle, let me . " He said.
His uncle hesitated.

' This nephew of his was unpredictable. What was he trying to do?' He carefully scrutinized him.

" Please.!!! Or I would use force. " The Emperor sounded desperate. His uncle had no other choice than to move aside.

As the space was created, the Emperor occupied it. His hair changed into reddish-orange . Fire surrounded his body. He cut his wrist with his claw, and a drop of blood came down landing on Aunt Lin's forehead. A bright orange light lit up, and the cry of a phoenix was heard. Aunt Lin's eyes slowly opened.

" Yu…"

Hearing his name, the Emperor's Uncle went towards his beloved, and held her hands.

" I am sorry for not being here , when you needed me most. " He brushed the strands of hair on her forehead away.

" It's fine, but I would still punish you. How dare you go into closed door seclusion, when I , Ahhhhhhhhh….."

Aunt Lin screamed out , as she felt a sharp pain from her stomach.

" Uncle, we have to deliver him ourselves. " The Emperor said. His features were now back to normal.

" What.. ?!!!!!" He looked at the calm attitude of his nephew.

" The ones who were supposed to are down. We are the only ones here. And I am very sure, you wouldn't want anyone near your mate. " The Emperor answered without batting an eyelid.

The Emperor's Uncle could not utter a single word.

' This nephew of his , is one day going to make him spurt out blood from anger. 'He thought.

" Yu…..~" His mate muttered.

" Argh…fine. What am l going to do? " He asked his nephew, who picked a small jade bottle among the things the women brought.

" You would be the one to receive the baby. It's not that hard. " He replied, nonchalantly.

' It's not that hard??!!!! Easy for you to say. How many fathers have you seen delivering their wives? ' He thought.

He wanted to resist, but seeing the look on his mate's face , he conceded. He moved towards his mate's legs , and opened the quilt with a trembling hand. The amount of blood he was seeing almost made him lose it.

' What had his mate gone through before his arrival?'

The Emperor made his Uncle's mate swallow the pill from the jade bottle. He instructed her to push.

Aunt Lin did as she was told.

" Ahhhhhhhhh….." She pushed with all her might. She was breathing heavily.

" Wahhh….Wahhh…Wahhh…" The cry of a baby was heard.

The Emperor's Uncle came out of the quilt with a baby in his arms. The baby's body was covered in blood. He brought the baby over to his mate.

" It's a boy… he looks bright..His name is..Su Ming. " Aunt Lin said cheerfully.

His mate smiled, and placed the baby in his nephew's arms. His nephew was astonished. He stared at the baby, who had red eyes like his mother. The baby in his arms was his cousin..He had helped in bringing this boy into the world.

" I will take care of Lin'er. You, take care of Ming'er. "

His uncle said, and carried his mate towards the bathroom.

' Is he getting back at me ? ' The Emperor thought as he watched his uncle leave.

He signed and went ahead to do his own task .

Not long after, the mother and the child were cleaned up . The bedspread had been changed. The room was clear of unwanted things.

" Huh?... "

" Why am I on the floor?"

" Her Highness?"

The women who had fainted earlier, stood up one after the other in a daze, and spoke simultaneously.
