Chapitre 28: ATTEND SCHOOL
Connor's House.
Connor: Hey, good morning!
Alexa: Good morning to you, how are you?
Connor:I am good and you?
Alexa: I am good though slightly exhausted.
Connor: It's quite evident from your swollen eyes and dirty feet.
Alexa: What do you mean dirty huh? My legs are clean and they have no problem at all.
Connor: Look and see for yourself, you look like you are from farming.
Alexa checks her legs to be sure whether Connor is saying the truth and to her own disappointment he is right because after she returns, she forgets to clean up her feet but changes into her pyjamas so as to sleep.
Connor: Care to explain how a medical personnel got herself so dirty with treating patients?
Alexa: It was a very long story I wouldn't want to dive into.
Connor: Am ready to listen just narrate the story from any point.
In all Alexa's years of lying, today is going to be the first time she might reconsider going back to school to align her bachelors in lying and pretence but still a queen a queen as she is, she formulates her story.
Alexa: Can you imagine!
Connor: No.
Alexa: Yesterday I was totally embarrassed by a mad man that was brought in the hospital who kept chasing me around and due to the intensity of the work out and no help from other people, my shoes jumped out of my feet hence leaving me in my bare feet so as to aide my movement.
Connor: hahahaha, sorry about that but where was the security or even better the psychiatrist at that?
Alexa: As if you don't know that night shift is not easy.
Imelda: Mummy! good morning.
Alexa: Hi honey ,how are you?
Imelda: I am ok.
Connor: Mmmm, someone has not seen me?
Imelda: Daddy!
Connor: Leave me , go to your mum.
Imelda: Daddy! ( Imelda opens her arms widely for a hug from her daddy)
Connor: Okay, come here I can't resist your little hands and smile.
With that, I melda giggles happily.
Alexa: She needs to take a shower and brush her teeth so STAY AWAY FROM her stinky little mouth.
Connor: Oh, you are mean.
Alexa: I am just preparing myself and her too for the school kind of routine.
Connor ; You don't say, she is still so young to even think of going to school can't you see ?
Alexa: Connor, this girl's age is the right one to start school . You can't believe I was younger than her when I started kindergarten.
Connor: Stop lying, are you trying to say you entered pre school at 2 years?
Alexa: Yes, if you doubt, ask my mother I suppose she will tell you more about my amazing journey of growth.
Connor:Well sorry to burst your bubble but your times are not her times so this young lady here is going to be taken first for singing classes, dancing classes and driving lessons where need be.
Alexa : First of all I can assure you she has a stiff waist I highly doubt she can control it's circular movement and secondly, she needs to be eighteen years with a driving license to aid her movement in a car without any inconveniences.
Connor: Okay, what exactly will she get to do when in preschool that I can't give her?
Alexa: Friends .
Connor: Okay ,let us get some time and start doing our research on which schools are suitable for children her age.
Alexa: Any preschool is okay, why are you applying a lot of science in schooling of a toddler.
Connor: This toddler first of all has class and secondly it's father has money right Imelda?
Imelda: Yes.
Connor: As I thought, you are always having your daddy's back .
Alexa: And she is always having mummy's front.
Connor: What does that even mean?
Imelda: Mummy( Imelda pulls her mum's clothes, ) am hungry.
Alexa: This exactly is what I meant .
Connor:I don't get it but regardless, we are going for ice cream.
Alexa: Bring for me too .
Connor: Aren't you going to work today ?
Alexa: No, I asked for leave just to relax my limbs.
Connor : So we call it a family date.
Alexa: Yes but hope we are not feeding on ice for food because I just can't take it .
Connor: Which makes the two of you.
Alexa: Whether it's the two of us or not, food first then ice cream that's it.
Connor: Okay, hurry up and let's go dating and school hunting with our daughter.
Alexa: Wow, I am loving it even before we start. By the way, how far with getting her a nanny because you know we are so busy and can't keep being with her all day .
Connor: I am thinking that the idea of a nanny be put at a stand still since we are thinking of taking her to school because there are certainly those schools that can keep children till evening time when we can come pick them.
Alexa: Okay, not bad .As long as we all make a timetable for picking up the child amidst our busy schedules and know when to spend with her time , we are definitely going to be fine.
Imelda: Mummy! I am hungry.
Alexa: Sorry , I talk to much ,let's get you dressed for the date already. You too Connor get yourself dressed in something eye catching not those pants of yours that make you look like you are malnourished.
Connor: Oh wow Alexa how could you say that about my expensive damaged jeans .
Alexa: In all honesty, you don't need to go around exposing those tooth pick legs to the public ,cover up .
Connor: Ensure you wear slightly a baggy pant and crop top because I can't bare seeing myself being the center of attraction.
Alexa: Am I that attractive?
Connor: You are not bad it's just that you slide at the back which is abit un proportional.
Alexa: No you didn't just call me flat assed did you?
Connor excuses himself to get properly dressed for his date leaving his wife contemplating his words.
