"You look lovely, Lady Hazel."

"Thank you, Mary. Can you please hand my mother something to wipe her eyes before she starts to cry ?" Hazel said, looking at her weeping mother through the mirror. "You've been holding back tears since you've arrived."

"My oldest is getting married. How can I not cry? Thank you," Renee said, accepting the cloth from Mary. "Then Helena claims she will soon be getting married. My home will be empty."

'Why did you say it as if you do not believe I will get married soon? I found a man who wishes to take me as his wife. I am only waiting for Hazel's moment to pass to introduce him and then get married," said Helena.

Helena had already received a soft proposal as she was told of his plans to marry her. It happened close to Hazel's wedding so not to take the shine from Hazel, Helena was patiently waiting.
